Oh no! You can not leave that as a one shot! That was a great twist of the tale and so well written. You simply have to bring it to its conclusion!

Okay - you may not know where this is heading, but it is just too good of an idea to leave as a one shot. This variation changes much, but not everything, because Darcy is still convinced he cannot and should not have Elizabeth. You should seriously consider continuing this. It is so well done. You have established such great characterizations in this short story. I already love both of ODC. Would love to see you take this further.

Well done! It works quite well as a one-shot, but I'd also love to see it expanded into a full AU P&P. And/or Elizabeth's POV. Without the tumult of undoing the Wickham effect, she might know herself sooner!
