Just came back to reread this fic, and it still doesn't disappoint! I'm not sure if you're active anymore on fanfic or if you even read these review, but I just want to share my appreciation for your work and the time you dedicated to it.

I had absolutely no idea that 'Housekeeping' had a sequel! I read that amazing story way back when and, though I have reread it a few times since, I failed to realise that there was a part two! Honestly, the excitement I felt when I started reading 'Remnant' was what some people would describe as embarrassing but my goodness, this fic and it's prequel are just brilliant! Jane is well written OC and the plot is just, just, well, I hate to repeat myself but... It's positively brilliant! I couldn't have hoped for more from a Joker story. You are wonderful! However I deeply appreciate how you handled the telling and the timing of this story.

Reflects how things don't often work out in life or fall into place. That's there's never a good time for the truth.

Now I'm going to go watch some happy, fun videos. This really has left me a bit of an introspective, emotional wreck. Big oof.

OK like holy shit I legit just suddenly remember this fic from like the depths of my brain every like 4 months and binge the whole thing in like a week. It is honestly one of THE BEST fics I have ever read (Housekeeping included in this whole rant btw) and I only recently got around to actually making a fanfic account so here is i am finally poring out my like ten years of love for these fics. Legit like I started reading these when I was in early high school and I swear they live rent free in my brain at all times. JUst the way you write as a whole is a pleasure to read and your characterisation of the characters themselves is just so spot on that 90% of the time I legit forget I'm like not reading some official lore.
I really hope you one day decide to return to this fic because it is absolutely fantastic and I would be overjoyed to see where it goes.

I've been searching for so long to find a Joker fanfic that I like and I finally found yours! I love these so much I read both in just 2 days! Your writing is beautiful and haunting. It drew me in and even though I've reached the end it still has a hold of me. I hope you choose to update this again someday, but if not, I just want you to know this story has helped brighten up an insane year for me!

I remember reading Housekeeping and Remnant way, way back in my early years of high school. I was absolutely delighted by the quality of your writing, but more so the quality of your storytelling. There are so many works on this website full of imagination, heart, and depth but I can honestly say this story stands the greatest of all.

I stayed in a hotel this past week.
For some reason, a deep memory of reading this story returned to me and I googled “hotel” “joker” and “jack”. After tweaking a few searches I re-found Housekeeping. Three days later, I’m again at the end of Remnant, this time in college.

Although few of us can say we have gone exactly through what Jane has, the isolation we feel at times from our family and friends is accessible to all. That strange attachment she has to Jack we have to your words. It’s hard to believe you begun this story so long ago.
With the global pandemic and school, and whatever else may have happened in between now and your last update - may I just say I hope, with all my heart, that you’re doing well. And I hope that you still find as much joy in Batman as you said so nearly ten years ago.

So like everyone else here i came from house keeping and I absolutely love your style of writting. I screamed, laughed and facepalmed myself while reading both of this stories for the past 3 days. And hopefully you continue writting and not leave us hanging when Harley is just coming in. But if it has ended it was still a great read...I'll just have to imagine what could have happened haha.
