What a great ending! I'm not sure if you mean to continue writing, but I feel like you gave enough closure. Jane is spiralling , Joker well seems to be doing just peachyand we all know what happens to our beloved psychiatrist. It's an open ending ready to be picked up upon.. yet also a satisfying end to the Nolan Joker we got to see.

I am curious how'd you continue the dynamic between Joker, Harleen and Jane... can't imagine your take on it..

This series was so beautifully written. I felt like I was there in every moment, feeling what Jane felt. The characterizations were beautiful and unique, especially when depicting the Joked. I ate up every piece of this story and would be thrilled to read more. Amazing amazing writing!

Just came back to reread this fic, and it still doesn't disappoint! I'm not sure if you're active anymore on fanfic or if you even read these review, but I just want to share my appreciation for your work and the time you dedicated to it.

I had absolutely no idea that 'Housekeeping' had a sequel! I read that amazing story way back when and, though I have reread it a few times since, I failed to realise that there was a part two! Honestly, the excitement I felt when I started reading 'Remnant' was what some people would describe as embarrassing but my goodness, this fic and it's prequel are just brilliant! Jane is well written OC and the plot is just, just, well, I hate to repeat myself but... It's positively brilliant! I couldn't have hoped for more from a Joker story. You are wonderful! However I deeply appreciate how you handled the telling and the timing of this story.

Reflects how things don't often work out in life or fall into place. That's there's never a good time for the truth.

Now I'm going to go watch some happy, fun videos. This really has left me a bit of an introspective, emotional wreck. Big oof.

OK like holy shit I legit just suddenly remember this fic from like the depths of my brain every like 4 months and binge the whole thing in like a week. It is honestly one of THE BEST fics I have ever read (Housekeeping included in this whole rant btw) and I only recently got around to actually making a fanfic account so here is i am finally poring out my like ten years of love for these fics. Legit like I started reading these when I was in early high school and I swear they live rent free in my brain at all times. JUst the way you write as a whole is a pleasure to read and your characterisation of the characters themselves is just so spot on that 90% of the time I legit forget I'm like not reading some official lore.
I really hope you one day decide to return to this fic because it is absolutely fantastic and I would be overjoyed to see where it goes.

I've been searching for so long to find a Joker fanfic that I like and I finally found yours! I love these so much I read both in just 2 days! Your writing is beautiful and haunting. It drew me in and even though I've reached the end it still has a hold of me. I hope you choose to update this again someday, but if not, I just want you to know this story has helped brighten up an insane year for me!
