Great chapter!

Wow, the comments here are so rude. This is so lovely and such an interesting take on Harry in Middle Earth. It really makes me curious about what Harry thinks about Legolas, especially as she’s forgetting her memories. Harry also doesn’t think about his wife much, which stands out as he remembers his children so that’s really cool. Thanks for such an amazing work, it was really fun reading it!

So I have a huge problem with fem Harry fics where Harry used to be male. People don't make that kind of conversion without severe psychological damage (a huge majority of trans people suffer major mental illnesses prior to conversion, and most remain damaged after - depression, suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, and numerous other mental illnesses are all more common among the fairly small trans population than the rest of the populace); furthermore, the damage from being changed against one's will would be far more significant (the first and only gender conversion experiment I'm aware of was conducted by a Dr. Love on a pair of brothers - both brothers were so fucked up they killed themselves).

I like this story but what Harry is doing is completely unnecessary, unfair, and cruel. there is no reason for Harry to do this. I think I might drop this fic. not only is this out of character for Holly but it's out of character for Harry. I'll give it a little more time but this is so awful. I just want to strangle this... shadow of Harry.

no, Harry is definitely being an idiot. Harry should have started questioning whether this was actually a dream or not already.

Folding steel isn't necessary if the steel is any good, the reason the Japanese did it for their stupid swords is because they had awful steel.

Y'know, Legolas would likely know a fair bit about those marshes, actually, if only at second and third hand. That's where his grandfather, who was mentioned earlier in the story, died, along with a distressing number of Greenwood elves. That's a big part of the corpses in the water there. It's also one of the tragedies that left Thranduil such an unmitigable arse.

I don't think harry should have that much trouble speaking with confidence as he does here. He's trying to emulate sataresse to be more authoritative but he already was an experienced head auror so he already should be confident
