This was a real treat. I wanted to have a blunt, honest to god crossover where Master Chief meets with the Reds and Blues during their “war.” But it goes beyond with them teaming against Project Freelancer.

It feels like reading an alternate take on the RvB universe. A little odd stuff here or there, but the characters are pretty much on point, it’s crazy. I did hoped the ending would have been a bit detailed like with Church reflecting on the fact that he was an A.I the whole time with Tex or something. But other than that, this was awesome. Would love to see a continuation of this.

I’m can’t figure out how exactly Cortana even gained a human body. My guess is that it was flash cloned using Dr. Halsey’s blood. If I’m right then they must have somehow found a way to slow down the degeneration process all the way down to a halt.

So what is this a lead up to?

In terms of Halo lore, it was a headache reading into how the Chief fought and how he was overpowered. I mean ffs the man has and can lift up to 1200 lbs without the suit alone . Story, however, was pretty enjoyable and has that enjoyable RvB dialogue that we all know and love

The story, Halo lore aside, was pretty enjoyable and has that enjoyable RvB portion that we all know and love
