I have mixed feelings about this story, I think you are a really good writer and honestly I don't have much problems with the story itself. Scenes are fun, the characterization of the Negima cast are pretty spot on and the pacing is nice, is just very specific parts that frustrates me. This of course with no faults from you, it just clashing with my opinion on certain aspects and things that I would like to read. The primary thing that frustrates me is Ranma herself/himself; I mostly feel that ranma is kind of meaningless, I think you could take her/him out of the story and it wouldn't really change anything, things that happend would still happen the same even without her. Also as someone else pointed out the lack of conviction on sticking with a decision, rejecting something just to always caved at the end, don't understand why she can't just go train with someone else in martial arts having the experience of traveling around looking for someone who can teach her something new or just by herself, an important aspect of her/his character for me is the fact that while ranma lack a lot of aspects in certain areas, in the martial arts he is something of a prodigy being able to pick techniques just by watching them and mastering them quickly and actually getting better just by herself also on the point on why she doesn't commit to learning magic and improve herself or to be better prepared to rescue her father and the last thing to end my rant, the fact that she has kind of lost every fight that she has had (at least until where I am at chapter 9) and the not losing part is such a big part in his personality that I find lacking in the story, not having won a fight yet and those that he won just using something that feels more like a final trump card involving magic that skill in her martial arts. Well that is all i have to say, sorry for the rant. Again no fault from you this is just my opinion and despite that, the story is quite good and find myself curious about what's to come, just wish she/he had a bigger impact overall in this crossover ( though I feel like fusion would be a better term ). This story is frustrating for me personally to read. Ranmas a total tsundere, and only ever puts up a token resistance now against ideas he disagrees with, and he doesn’t learn magic even though he might be able to get rid of his curse which stinks of him later learning it for a power boost.

That was a delight. You really managed to bring back the negima magic adding Ranma in with a good shake to make both more interesting. Your pacing was superb. Your characterizations spot on. And you took the time to have fun with everyone. It has been a pleasure reading and I hope to someday see the conclusion to such a masterpiece.

Went over this story again. Barring a few typos that get rarer as the story goes on, this really is one of the few REALLY good Ranma crossovers. No character bashing, the needed characters are given the spotlight, while not forgetting the lesser characters, Ranma feels like Ranma (though he could be a bit more of an arrogant jerk on screen here), and the story still keeps it so Negi is important, but Ranma and company have roles as well.

I know it's been a few years since you've updated, but it would be nice to see how the rest of the story goes now that Ranma has his male form back, found his father, and got his revenge. To see how Ukyo goes from here now that she knows Ranma is a guy, how the school goes since its supposed to be all girls, and if Chamo finally gives up on Ranma.

I'll admit I'm reading this for your unusual and engaging depiction of the ranma characters. I'd welcome reading more, if your circumstances allow.
