Reviews for A Man of Iron |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() OK, this is my second review. Major typographical error, its Khal Drogo not Droga. Short chapters but content is good. Adding Wolverine is treading close to the Marvel crossovers. As i said before, keep it to a minimum. Even though Tony is the main character, adding other Marvel characters that rarely appears on the Iron Man comics/movies will change the genre of this crossover. If you are going to add more better move this to Marvel/ASOIAF crossovers. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was surprised when you posted this chapter. I really had no clue as to how Dany was important to the story until Logan came out of nowhere. I'll just say that I'm the complete opposite of disappointed; well done. But this now begs the question, "who else?" I doubt the you could introduce Captain America without creating a convoluted mess of a plot hole, but I want to see more Marvel universe characters introduced into this story. Great job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've always liked Daenerys in canon and I pike ehat your doing with Logan. I'm looking forward to seeing how Tony will make the suit. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my god yes! Making Wolverine Dothraki was a) a major twist that I did not see coming at all, and B) just an excellent character choice for interacting with Grey Worm and Daario Naharis should you ever get that far. I have literally no suggestions for how to make this chapter better, but the addition of the X-Men adds an entirely new dimension to the story. For example, you could have Mystique be Braavosi, or Sabretooth be one of the wildlings. Oh and I also had an idea about maybe adding Thor in by using sunstones to replace the lightning in mjolnir. Dude keep it up because I actually think is your best work running! |
![]() ![]() ![]() ...heh heh heh... Wolverine is always a great way to demonstrate to thugs that the bars on the cage are not to protect the tiger, and that they are not the tiger. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this story is soooooooooooo well written, i shit you not! I can't wait for more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome story! An original one too! :) Loved it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Just wanted to mention that I really like how you've got a firm grasp on keeping Westeros "in character" with all of its politics and nasty, brutish lifestyle, yet Tony is in character too, as a brilliant, shining beacon who is starting to cut through all of the bullshit in this world. Since this is Westeros, I know lots of bad things will happen, but I particularly look forward to seeing how Tony screws up everyone else's best laid plans and brings some of his trademark heroism into such a conspiracy/politics-laden world. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a particularly good chapter; I like the insight into Tywin's mind, and the clever realism you're using. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is just so much epic I cannot describe it. You seamlessly transfer the Marvel personality into a believable cast that fit right into the Westeros universe. Please keep writing this, and if you want to turn this into the sort of epic that this story truly could become, the readers on this site would thank you for it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Dany new protector? Hmm, I have no idea. Captain America? Ah! Can't wait for the next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I take it that Lord Oaker is due for a bad day, among others. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Is it Baelish who ordered Tony to be tortured? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good call on not having him make the Mk1 suit in a cave, I assume the eventual suit won't be powered but rather have just the sunstones in the hands or something? |
