I love what you've done to chopper. Somehow, the stories in which he's a 'human doctor' in an AU always seem wrong to me.

Oh, you poor thing! Heal quickly, here's another healthy dose of review to make you recover. How about you do the same thing I usually do when I receive a review and start jumping like crazy? It makes up for about the same amount of bruises, broken bones, concussions and major owwies, but it's less awful to watch than a tap-dance, and much easier to perform!
Actually, I reviewed the second chapter, too. I was the one making theories, but I forgot to log in! So it reads 'guest'. Bah, go figure.
And yay for who I'm guessing to be Nami! I suppose it's her, so I was right, she's German! Yay for me! Will you also be including other OP characters? In that case, I'm really rooting for the Whitebeard pirates to appear (namely Marco, Thatch, Haruta, Izou and Jozu, but Vista also) and more importantly the Supernovas (mostly Law and Kidd. Mostly Law. Bonney, Drake, Hawkins and Apoo wouldn't hurt either). If they are indeed going to appear, I have theories for them, too? Wanna hear them? 'Kay? Kay!
All of the WBP: well, American. Dunno why, I just have the impression, but it would be strange for them to mess up like Zoro did... maybe Thatch's clumsiness was the end of their airplane's lifespan? Maybe a fight broke on board? I'd better stop here before my imagination starts thinking of all the comical scenarios.
Law: I was thinking Italian. I think you know WW2, as you're writing this, but for starters, Italians were allied with the Nazi.
Kidd: depending on which side of the war you would like him to be, Italian or English. I'm letting my imagination run, as always.
Bonney: so very English.

Oh, love that scene in which Zoro and Sanji meet, and that one in which Usopp and Zoro meet, too. You can just *feel* the prejudice that comes with the simple nationality. Luffy and Zoro are supposed to be the Enemy with a capital 'E' just because they were born on the other side of the war, Sanji and Usopp are supposed to be Nazi just because they were born in Germany. It's... nice to read, actually, as you indeed considered the fact that they would most likely have prejudices against each other. Also, kudos to you! You remembered the language barrier, which I would have probably forgotten until I was writing their lines.
Congratulations, good sir! This one is going straight in my favorites list. Which is not very long, as only the most interesting stories among millions end up there. Really, congratulations on writing such a captivating story, both for the basic concept and the actual plot! ;3

Hmm I wonder who that girl is. She's seemingly cold and heartless but Usopp's thoughts make her seem bribable. My guess is Nami (who shares those traits) or maybe even Boa, but I guess it could really be anyone.

I love how Zoro and Luffy are managing even without a common language. And I guess I'm not surprised at all that Zoro was supposed to be in Africa. Who let him fly alone anyways!?
