Now I will never condone exploitation or abuse of any minors. AT ALL. We as a third party are not privy to what happened to you, but if you feel you were abused in any way, I highly recommend speaking to someone about your experience. Fanfiction, for a long time, was a wild west of online writing made by fans (who by and large encompass a wide margin of personality types, including predatory interests).

Please, seek help. Especially if you were asked or told to do things that you did not want to. There is a support system in place for things like this, and I don't know where you're based from, but I really recommend looking into it.

That being said...Naruto, in the first few chapters (including the OG piloting episode) dealt a LOT with death. I remember thinking "how crazy is this show that 13 year olds are crushing each other to death with sand/stabbing people". Childhood romance is an INCREDIBLY thin line to dance, the squick factor being 99999. But when it's made for the literary purpose of bringing two separate individuals who are the same age, then I feel like circumstances can be addressed. Anything sexual in nature by and large is a big no-no. Even fade to black are seen as questionable situations because we, as authors, control all aspects of our writing. After all, it's our interests that cause this interaction, so on and so forth.

In the modern day and age, most teenagers have had their first relationship before they graduate highschool (16-18 in the US). That can include a variety of activities. I feel it's a bit polarizing to shun childhood love (not smut or lemons) based on age when these are people who are committing atrocious crimes against humanity for a living wage.

We're talking about glorified sociopaths.

Ino and Kurama's situation doesn't make sense in any way.

I can't believe Ino didn't even get questioned about why her soul was away from her body and she was found outside Konoha. Obviously they must know she was part of the Naruto retrieval thing but her getting off scot free for messing up his memories and not a single person thinks to bring it up, even past the time skip, is infuriating
