Great story - very tounge and cheek, I love it!
| city bookworm chapter 1 . 10/29/2014
I hoped that the show would go into more detail about Liz's past. I can see a young Liz rebelling as a teen. Any less than legal things would help their relationship. I keep wondering if in the show they will ever do something about their relationship. The best choice she make was not going through with that adoption. The baby would've just compliceted things and given Tom major blackmail material over Liz. I would have liked it if the story didn't end here.
| And FOREVER chapter 1 . 10/23/2014
Awe... That's it? I was hoping there'd be A part two or something :(
It was very sweet though.. I loved the interaction :)
| frenchparrot chapter 1 . 10/12/2014
What a perfect moment!
| MzMeloncholia chapter 1 . 7/10/2014
"I can't tell you everything, Lizzie," he began softly, "only that you *are* everything. The reason I am here. You are everything to me"
I keep returning to this ficlet. I find solace and strength and comfort in this tiny breath of a story.
And the song choice! Oh, the song choice - it is right up there with the choices made by the BL music team.
Thank you xxxx
| TheirYellowPaint chapter 1 . 7/4/2014
Not sure how I'm just reading this now but...wow. So so good. I actually looked up The Sun is Shining Down on YouTube and had that playing in the background while I read (the second time because once wasn't enough)...and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't an emotionally compromised fangirl puddle right now, lol. The somber sweetness of the music (what an inspired song choice!) really complemented your already gorgeously written scenes and made the dialogue (like Red's "You are everything" and Liz's "I'll follow you") that much more poignant and meaningful. *grabs for tissues*
Seriously, can you submit your resume to TPTB already and start working on the show?
| firerosedreamer67 chapter 1 . 6/7/2014
This story in its warmth has me liking "them" even more... Thank You
| Guest chapter 1 . 4/12/2014
I am addicted to your stories. I read this one twice and I spent the past 5 minutes trying to think of which of the many reasons why I love this would I share. And I love that you ship them and you write them so well and then there are lines like "The first few somber notes bled into the room like the last sunrise on earth" that are breathtaking and have to be read over and over. Just thank you for sharing your gift...
| HasFar2Go chapter 1 . 3/12/2014
*clutches at chest* Why why WHY are you not writing for the show so we could have amazing scenes like this? The tension and background info on Liz and Red, oh Red, dear enigmatic, adoring Red. This was the scene we should have had.
| AccountKiller201501291644 chapter 1 . 3/12/2014
What can I say? Perfection as always!
And I see no reason whatsoever that this could not be canon sometime... It's the meaningful conversations like this that are so long overdue!
| Latona chapter 1 . 3/11/2014
*flails* AHH! This! Was awesome! I loved it! I've listened to the song repeatedly!
| simmydim88 chapter 1 . 3/10/2014
This is excellent! I just can't... Why must it be a one shot? Can you make it a two shot? Pleaseeeeeeee :)
| Skeeter69 chapter 1 . 3/10/2014
Read your story a couple of times now because there is so much substance one can't take it all in at one reading. Love the dark tone, much like real life. The baby, thanks for putting that issue in order. Always wondered why Tom was pushing so hard for a baby...it certainly wasn't for himself. He would have used that child as a weapon against Liz. Liz has once again learned something about herself.
The flipping of the sonogram photo reminds me of a neon sign steadily blinking on and off, now you see it, now you don't. That's Red and Liz, now they admit their attraction, now they don't. Also a clue to Liz's juvenile past of petty crime which makes her more like Red. More his equal. Love that she says, "It felt good." when she referred to her attempt at crime in the embassy. She also realizes there are things she shares with Red and can't share with anyone else.
Oh my, 'I could love you Lizzie...and anyone else you want to be...' How many times are we offered that jewel in RL? Almost never. Don't let him slip away Liz. The sexual tension you create between the two is a dalliance in paradise for the reader. Thanks for letting us eavesdrop on their growing emotional attachment.
