Hmm, seems like Albus was manipulating things to keep Harry at the Dursleys, but whether it was malicious or not is still to be determined.

Still, this will have some interesting consequences. Harry's being scarred by Dudley is the kind of thing that can't be ignored and will spread outward to too many places. In other words, it will be interesting to see how Albus reacts to this, especially since he has to realize that he is in some part responsible.

Not really enough for me to give any kind of constructive criticism for yet, but I will say I'll definitely be watching this story. I've loved your work with Fate's Gamble, I happen to be both a HP and Nonoha fanfic fan, and you're taking an old HP/Nanoha idea (Harry with Reinforce) and giving it an interesting twist.

Have to say I'm curious if they'll have access to the Guardian Knight programs. On one hand they had been separated from Reinforce and separately maintained before Reinforce was destroyed and summoned, but on the other hand you mentioned the regeneration of several missing components and I'd assume that through the Book of Darkness' many times around there are times where the book was destroyed while the Guardians were still manifest and yet they were reincarnated with the book, so you could really go either way. I actually kind of hope they won't manifest, would be very different, and really Reinforce and the Wolkenritter is a bit overkill for the HP verse.

Looking forward to the next chapter. Will Harry always keep his new scars, or will the healers of HP verse be able to remove them as they were caused by chemicals and not magic?

Eh, not too much a fan of horrible mutilations, especially so early on, but overall I'd say it's a good start. Then again, maybe I'm a bit biased 'cause I like your work so much, even if that's only one other story at the moment (it's more than long enough to count for a lot).

And, because I just have to nit-pick at times, at this point in the series, Fate hasn't been adopted yet, so she still should only have one name. Lindy's asked her about it, and she's pretty much all but said yes, but she's still just Fate Testarossa at this point.

Either way, good start, and I can't wait to see where you go with this, and how Fate's Gamble will continue to grow.
