This is one of my fave Harry/Hermione fics.

I weary of all the "forgiveness" crap. Forgiveness, when received is encouraging to the repentant. Repentance is not accomplished without sorrow and suffering on the part of the offender.
What should be Dumbledore's focus (if he must be judgmental) is Repentance: Recognition of one's poor actions, Regret for behavior, Recompense toward the person(s) hurt, and Resolve to not repeat such and to improve one's self.
Forgiveness is something worked out by the soul who has been hurt, and takes great strength of character. But it has nothing to do with the public's opinion or wishes.

Compliments on describing the process of learning about one's self, which is described for Hermione. That is guidance that many (youth and adult) can learn so as to find more gusto in life.

You say you are ecstatic about us enjoying your story, but it is unfinished, and by the looks of it will never be. You are a good writer and should finish your stories.

Hermione has a LIMP? what happened to vanishing the bone and regrowing it/them with 'Skelegrow'. Good story, nice twist.

Well, enough clues towards what will be coming up, and now only one real DE left at Hogwarts to cause trouble!

I see there is a bunch of chapters already written and I will continue to read, but I do hope Luna will become a close friend as she is also ostracized in Ravenclaw and with her unique perspective be a huge help to counter Hermione's logical views!
