I love Dumbledore in this story, but when will all the bulling stop? will Hermione ever stand up for herself, and Ginny is a total bully I hate bully's they're not good people, I hope something happens to Ginny, Pansy, Malfoy Snape Ron and there mother. thanks ever so much.

Thanks for writing. I'm sorry that you had some unpleasant and unmerited comments, particularly about cliche. With literally millions of HP stories in fanfic, it's virtually impossible to be entirely original. What's important is what you do with the story, and your characters are engaging. A slightly distanced Sirius is less common & adds interest.

In trying to avoid being cliche, you decided to be cliche. How...novel.

Take a seat, son, and read this list of cliche girlfriends for our favorite gardener.

1 - Hannah Abbot (his canon wife, which catapulted her from third place to first)
2 - Susan Bones (often marries him alongside Hannah)
3 - Luna Lovegood (in most HHr fics, she marries Collin Creevey. In most Harry/Ginny fics, she marries Neville)
4 - Ginny Weasley (the most commonly picked in HHr fics, if Ginny isn't potion queen Ginny)
5 - Daphne Greengrass (you picked this one)
6 - Hermione Granger (somewhat common in HP/LL fics, though she tends to marry Ron or Krum instead)
7 - Tracey Davis (Neville apparently likes snakes in his garden)
8 - Harry Potter (rarely in FemHarry stories, more common in male Harry stories)
9 - Draco Malfoy (I don't know and don't want to know)
10 - Literally every Slytherin/Hufflepuff witch currently at Hogwarts (and people think the fic with Harry getting twenty-six wives is extreme. Neville gets almost a hundred in these fics)

Riddle would never, EVER reveal his true name to anyone other than Dumbledore, who already knew, and his chosen nemesis, Harry Potter. He may be stupid, but he's not a fool. Bones would smear the truth of his birth all over the place and it would utterly ruin him, since he's more or less Pureblood Jesus to his followers.

It is also ridiculous to believe that magic's perfect engine of destruction can be killed in such a mundane way. Maybe when they are very young, but not over a thousand years old. There is also the little problem: snakes are all DEAF! You can't be blinded when you are already blind, and you can't be killed by a death sound when you were never able to hear. Besides, transfigured creatures do not have the 'power' of the real thing, so even if a rooster could kill a basilisk, a transfigured one would lack whatever it was that allowed it to happen. If transfiguration could do that, Riddle would just repeatedly transfigure things into basilisks or other deadly magical creatures instead of flinging killing curses around like candy.

Gryffindor's sword was only able to destroy Horcruxes because of Harry 'impregnating' it with the Basilisk's venom. Since Harry didn't do that, the diary was basically indestructible. Good job fucking everything up, son!

Harry had the bones in his arm completely VANISHED and Pomfrey healed that easily, same with Ron's leg, which was broken when part of an underground area caved in on him. I find it hard to believe that a broken leg would confound her so much. If you rewrite this in the future, and you should since it broke future events, make it so that Hermione has Sciatic Nerve damage that magic cannot fix.

Gryffindors have potions with the Slytherins.

This chapter signified the beginning of this story's death, all because you broke canon in your ignorance. Now the locket and ring cannot be destroyed by the sword. Harry or Hermione will have to learn either the killing curse or Fiendfyre, since the sword is utterly useless to the plot now. Again, good job. Give yourself a medal.

I usually don’t start reading stories I know will probably never be finished, but I really liked your description and thought it was worth it. And is was! I cried (in a good way) and enjoyed your story very much. I’m sad it probably won’t be finished but I’ll give it a follow anyway; just in case!
