This could be added to a fanfiction as an alternative route to Sasukes trauma. Maybe if Itachi hadn't overdone it then Sasuke wouldn't have defected from Konoha and gone crazy. Obviously Sasuke still loved Itachi despite what he did because we saw him cry and swear vengeance for his brother after Obito exposed the truth. Even Itachi mentioned that if he told Sasuke the truth, perhaps he could have changed his father's mind or even understand the situation better and gotten stronger to help konoha against future threats. I really like this chapter. I have a feeling Sasuke would question Itachis motives when he gets older.

Is there a sequel?

This actually flows really well. I kinda am wishing that this was a long-form fic now, darnit.

...thats...so funny! Hahahaha. I mean, what? Itachi walks kids home after murdering everyone he knew? What?! I barely understood Sasuke's reaction. I would have smiled and nodded at Itachi and gone to the compound to see for myself. I mean, i'd think my sibling had gone crazy if he said he killed everyone i knew because of a small disagreement. Its so weird. And 'i hate you' already out there? Sasuke works fast. How long did he want to say it if he said it so fast?
