![]() ![]() HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME CRY LIKE THIS. i love team choza with all my heart why are you doing his to me |
![]() ![]() ![]() He llorado tanto con esta historia, es absolutamente increíble, me encanta todo, es genial y amo la relación que existe entre uno y otro, junto con su equipo. Esto fue asombroso, amo cada palabra aquí |
![]() ![]() hi! you just broke my heart! love this fic. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's an unlikely bunch but they made it work. I loved the little backstory at the end and of how Gai kept his promise- knowing that he picked Genma first over Kakashi warmed my heart a little, but poor Kakashi though. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is the absolute best exploration of Team Choza and its possible dynamic that I've ever seen! I love how they aren't exactly the most well-built, tight-knit team ever, but they've been through a lot and build a bond like steel anyway. A bond that fits the three of them very well in their own little way. And a bond that even explained why we didn't see a lot of them together in the present time (minus the fact that they were all side characters, and when Gai did play a role in the story, it was often as support to Kakashi or to Lee or otherwise a mission). I really love every single part of this, all the different times in their lives. I adore how Gai was the strongest of them and how this mentioned that Gai was definitely, canonically the youngest person on their team. And I love that this took the fact that they all witnessed the eighth gate in action and ran with it. Gai and Kakashi's bond is something I adore, and I adore the little bits and pieces of that sprinkled throughout this from Genma's and Ebisu's point of view (I especially love how it could be read as best friends or as something more, if I squint), but even more than that, Gai is an amazing friend and a loyal comrade with a heart as big as an ocean, and it makes me so happy to think that he would still be there for his old teammates. This shows their personalities and how they were intersect really, really well! I loved the interaction between Genma and Ebisu and all the bets they won because they knew better than anyone else in their village that Gai really is a beast. I love Gai saving them and I love how the earliest chronological part was saved for the very end, when Gai promised to pay back the favor and carry them no matter what. It makes everything hit with a lot more weight. I'm happy that in hindsight, since we know that Gai lives through it after all, they can still all go drinking after the war, eventually. They'll have a lot to talk about, I'm sure. You wrote this really, really well! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aaaah, I’m tearing up. I thought I hated 5 and 1 stories, but I loved this! “I’ll pay you back five times over,” omg. My heart. Thanks for the read! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh...this is all so heartbreaking and...aargh. Feels. I have such a weakness for Gai and his teammates... I can imagine what the trouble he and Genma and Ebisu got i together, their personalities are so different. DD |
![]() ![]() ![]() thanks a lot, I cried like a toddler so amazing! |
![]() ![]() Nice story! I haven't read anything like this before. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Omg, I hate you. This is so sad and beautiful. I have a feeling you enjoy making us cry. But who am I kidding? I love your writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sa! OMG, this broke my heart for Gai in all aspects of him and his team. And, you're right, Ebisu, Genma and Gai were never close, but, then, it was wartime when they were assigned to each other and there wasn't much a choice. But I think here you explored what very well could be their dynamic in that Gai is the Dark Horse of friendship and once those two got attached to him, they were attached for life-even if not close by. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I notice you use then instead of than when comparing two things. For example in the end of Rule number one it goes, "...make a person who was clearly worse of then them..." should be than. Sorry for nitpicking but I still enjoyed reading (: |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was really well done! But it hurt my heart. A lot. |
![]() ![]() Aww, I hope you write more about this team. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I kind of sensed some form on enmity between Kakashi and Genma... I always figured they were more of friends... Either way, it was a well written story and I enjoyed it. Gai really was one of the most reliable shinobi Konoha had... Kakashi always gave everything in his fights, and is prone to exhaust himself to protect and save his friends, so I'm not surprised Gai has had to carry him back many times :) |
