D&E的那一夜的可怕错误导致Elizabeth被迫出走，Darcy苦苦寻觅七个月却不知道自己就是罪魁祸首。Babsy没讲这七个月两人是怎么熬过去的（写出来又是一场史诗级的Angst），当两人再次相遇时，Elizabeth表面宽恕一切，但真正的伤痛在心底溃疡糜烂；一无所知的Darcy则享受了威力加倍的迎头暴击，如果没有Elizabeth的安抚和宽恕，Darcy注定一辈子无法原谅自己（死后的灵魂飘荡在Derbyshire的荒野，痛苦地呼唤着Elizabeth！Elizabeth！安魂曲也镇不住的那种凄惨）。好在沟通剖开了愈合不良的伤疤，挤出了恶脓，破败的伤口终在爱的疗养下逐渐愈合。以前我一直觉得“爱能治愈一切”扯得不能再扯，但在Havenswood里这是一个我无比乐意接纳的幸福事实。在历经道不清的痛苦后，也只有坚不可摧的爱能支撑爱人与家人间的宽恕（我最喜欢结局Mr. Bennet帮助孩子解围，这一场宽恕的构思太精巧，太震撼了）。
Elizabeth无疑是幸运的(she was only saved from living the rest of her life in squalid obscurity because she happened to have chosen the right lover in the first place) 。Lydia的悲剧一部分是因为她自己的轻浮，一部分是选错了男人，还好作者没有狠到让她也怀上孩子。不过，Elizabeth能有最后的幸福绝对不只是因为她“碰巧选对了男人”。Havenswood给了她力量，让她有底气去追逐幸福，以contentment搏happiness (There was a difference between contentment and happiness, and that true happiness often only comes after risk and after suffering)；还有Elizabeth惊为天人的爱人之力—where she loves, she loves fiercely, even those who are undeserving of such devotion，其实Darcy也是如此，他不会轻易付出爱，但一旦开始就如大坝决堤奔腾不息（哈哈D&E的嗑点之一：无与伦比的passion&affection，两人真是绝配）。

But our lives do not always work out as we wish. This future you have before you will never be all you expect it to be. In some ways it will be less, as perhaps in this, but in many ways it will be more. Accept what comes, make the best of it, and always look for the ways the best parts of your future resulted from the most painful moments of your past.
This place lives up to its name, doesn't it? Havenswood. It is a haven, that's certain, but Suzanna told me once that a haven is only a 'respite', a place to catch one's breath before returning to the fray. It's not a place one is meant to stay forever.

I don't think I've ever reviewed this story even though I've read it several times. You captured the characters' emotions very well, especially given some of the delicate topics covered. Even though it starts off feeling rather heavy and sad, the redemption and character growth always makes this an enjoyable read. Well done!

Elizabeth in this story is such a dumb bimbo
She is asking what will happen if children born before wedding and trying to pretend as if she care about child's future and legitimacy

You could add one more chapter to this. A year later. The twin's birthdays. Oh also, correct the grammar. Daddy? lawyers...those are modern terms.
