I have not been so moved by a story in quite some time. I do love a good angsty fic, but this wasn’t just angst for angst sake. The writing was lovely and the character relationship was well developed. I would happily continue reading about their lives and rediscovey of one another forever, but also enjoyed the full circle style in which you wrote the fic.

Here’s an idea. A whole big lemon of Bella and Edward for an outtake!

My heart was hurting for Edward in this story. I know they were of mutual age but I feel like Rosalie date raped Edward. All because she was jealous of what Edward and Bella had. I wonder if she ever felt remorse when she saw Edward over those six years. Edward needed to grow up. I liked that Carlisle had that talk with Edward and told him that maybe there was a reason, that it was time for he and Bella to take different paths. Bella became a successful writer and Edward went to law school. And somehow their paths met again when the time was right.

Edward's remembering how in love his parents are and comparing himself to Charlie living years without Renee and how he doesn't want to be the Charlie in his life story and he's remembering the party for his parents that Bella attends...Bella comes to the party and I assume she's wearing heals as there was dancing and sounds like a formal kind of event...Edward said the last time he saw Bella in heals was at the school dance. I don't know why I'm thinking of heals right now when Charlie has been shot. I do remember he's ok though.

Edward, behind Bella at her door he remembers other dates where he followed women to their homes for casual sex...he called them dalliances...I thought he was through with casual sex... I really dislike when men are colored by always thinking about sex. Sure in general men have healthy sexual urges but in this case Edward is with the girl he lost to sex and here he is constantly thinking about it. idk, just wish men weren't always strongly made to look like sex is the main thoughts when with the ones they love. Maybe I'm not saying that right, this story gives me so many feels. Shows what a well written story it is to make readers passionate about the characters.

This is my third re-read of this story and I still love the intensity of the story, the multidimensional characters but what I still can't make peace with, and I know I'm not alone, is the way Edward, in this chapter with his response to his older brother Emmett bringing Rosalie into the fold as his love interest and Edward says, no worries big brother Rosalie was incidental...yeah, she's so not incidental, she was the aggressor and although Edward was ultimately to blame for his own choices, she manipulated the shit out of a young hormonal teen she knew didn't care a hoot about her and yet she went after him...ok I'm sure you are tired of hearing it all but I noticed I hadn't reviewed this chapter on my previous two reads and wanted to chime in...Love this story even when it hurts to read.

I just wish Rosalie didn’t get away with rape, and yet she did, and no one held her accountable. She deserves to have her world be ripped apart, the way she did to Edward and Bella.

soooo when did he get with Kelly? Cause I was sure you said he met her freshman year...then you had Edward going home to forks for his first trip back...then he was talking about two years later when em introduced rose as his girlfriend...….and now the Kelly thing. Are you suggesting that Kelly didn't ask him out for years? Or are you just shit at keeping the time line straight?

so the first trip home from college and theres snow on the ground...so hes been a "monk" for all of several months at this point? But he's already met his next fuck ….Kelly?

Wow. Before Edward was like...I barely remember it. Only flashes. It just happened. But here we are presented with the "truth". He made a conscious decision to fuck Rose. And I hate him even more then I did before. He has been quietly pursuing Bella with phone calls and bullshit about being friends, a wedding date in the future and there he was also going on a fucking date...just like the cheating piece of shit he's always been.
