sorry but seriously this mission is utterly retarded. Firstly, the fuma clan is inside fire country now so fire country and konoha get to decide what happens to them. The idea that suna can hire konoha to go slaughter people living inside fire country and minato doesn't even really investigate things is ludicrous.

Then the idea he'd assign elimination of a large ninja clan to a chunin and 3 genin is beyond ludicrous! Itachi was an S-rank jonin when he got his job of taking out the uchiha and he had an advantage of being an insider!

This mission assignment makes Minato look like the worst, and likely least intelligent Hokage ever. Especially so once he learns the genn haven't even had to kill yet. This isn't some bandit camp which MAY have a couple of missing nin. It's an entire fucking ninja clan, big enough to make their own settlement!

outside of experience level, why wouldn't this Naruto be a jonin level shinobi? He wasn't wasting his time in konoha's weak-ass academy. He was being taught by 2 S-rank shinobi and Mifune. Sure, he doesn't have the canon vast chakra reserves, but his reserves should still be larger than normal by far AND have much better control.

I just don't like when authors seem to waver on strength of their main character. Naruto certainly seems jonin level in everything except field experience so far in your fic. Certainly special jonin in the kenjutsu area. But his speed and strength and ninjutsu all seem up there too.

And considering how many canon characters were jonin as young as, or younger than Naruto is now, it makes zero sense for him to be weaker than jonin level.

Lol at some of these clowns in the comments, why the hell are you reading a "neglected" fic if you want Naruto to have a friendly relationship with his extremely abusive "family", whom didn't want anything to do with him until he was made important for some prophecy? Are you all retarded cucks?

The ending of this chapter felt forced. Naruto has zero reason to aid the kumo Shinobi and seems counter intuitive to his whole destory "Konah's enemies", afterall it was kumo who was doing very sketchy shit in the past with the whole attempted bloodline kidnappings. I just hate when writers do cancerous shit like this just for the sake of shipping, and you've done it twice now.
