| Rebecca Steven Taylor chapter 1 . 9/14/2003
ok, you're probably sick of me gushing by now, but i just had to tell you that this;'Hopefully, there'll be someone there who can tell us where we are,' the Doctor continued.
'Hopefully?' Mina prompted.
'Well, all of the residents could have been brutally slain in a disturbing and ritualistic manner,' the Doctor replied. 'I do seem to attract that kind of thing…'
is very funny. and so true.

Good story. Nice work capturing the essense of the Doctor as well! One (minor) quibble: your use of question marks is a bit awkward in some circumstances (i.e., 'What's the matter?' the Doctor asked. 'Don't you believe in happy endings.' could be 'What's the matter,' the Doctor asked, 'don't you believe in happy endings?'). Grammatical differences aside, great work!

Very good :)
I'd wondered if she was a selkie, LOL, Secret of Roan Inish came to mind as soon as the sea and flippers on the kids came together.
Very neat mixing in a bit of ST, Scottish/Irish lore, classics and the Doctor.
Thanks for a great read.
