I assume that riddle is "coffin", but I've never been comfy with that one. Many people buy their own coffin, and it is of use to them...later.

A good story until chapter 20 ... and then you had to make Harry run for minister when he was hardly out of school. Even in the admittedly crazy wizarding world of the Harry Potter universe, this would be more than just odd.

This was ingeniously conceived and beautifully executed, with a number of details I've found nowhere else. I also like your Harry much better than canonical Harry. I may not read it again simply because I'm an Old Fart with a limited desire to read about kidlets. You do give your adults more 'screen' time than Rowling did and make them real adults as well, for which I'm grateful; but I'm an unregenerate Snapehead (female Old Fart) who misses him if he's all but absent.

The detail I most welcomed was your use of curse-breakers to kill the Horcruces. I've wondered for years why only one fic (before yours) called upon curse-breakers to deal with ~any~ known or suspected curse - not to end the one on the DADA job, not to vet the Firebolt, not to help remove the Dark Mark, not to contribute to a lycanthropy cure, not to identify and neutralize Horcrux protections, and not to treat Blood Quill or werewolf-paw scratch scars.

A coffin!

Great story from beginning to end.

I was enjoying this story quite a bit until this. I can’t enjoy and don’t agree with all these people being let go. Their crimes were atrocious and it is absolutely galling to me that the victims will have to live side by side with the people who destroyed lives. Especially since none of the death eaters seem to repent their actions at all. It’s made the whole struggle a mockery.

So, Harry’s plan to destroy someone is to make them a carpenter? That is utterly ridiculous, he could’ve taken his magic and put him in prison. He killed Cedric and mult other things then just let him go?
