|Reviews for The Song of Deirdre: A Memoir of Skyrim|
| RealSlimShady chapter 40 . 12/4/2019
I love the story so far and I’m around the 40th page. I just wanna ask how do you get so detailed with your descriptions like the exact layout of the buildings you are in. Do you visit those places in game while your writing about them? Pls explain
| Michelle chapter 64 . 7/2/2019
I spent the entire week reading Deidre's story. What a tale. It made me want to go back and play Skyrim all over again. I love how familiar some parts were, yet how you took the game aspects and made them just a little different, like a breath of fresh air.
Can't wait to see what you do with the second and third books!
| Damien NightFall chapter 34 . 12/17/2018
I see consequences have finally caught up to Deidre. Now I wonder, when they manage to escape this situation will she still preach about forgiving and forgetting all crimes as if they never happened? I wonder how she will order Lydia not to kill the creature that tortured her or the thing that offered to rape her. I do wonder if she might finally understand that her foolishly naive view of the world will spell her undoing, as well as her loves. Then again that seems a foolish hope. I do wonder if she realises the same discrimination that she claims to champion against, she is a very willing practicer of? Her hunting and desire to kill all dragons is apparently better than killing a man In self defence after they try to rape torture and murder you. Hypocrisy Thy Name is Deidre.

iOk so, good story with good writing, but dear akatosh does deidre piss me off something fierce. her almost pacifism has made me want to quit reading many times, her self-righteousness continually piss me off. and now she says the forsworn can be taught the error of their ways so we should not kill them. Mehrunes nut sack how fucking naive can you get? Apparently it doesn't matter if you murder and rape and torture innocent people, as long as you say sorry all will be forgiven and forgotten about! Oh and noooo Lydia, we can't kill rampant savages, taking out the trash will make us just as bad as the people who the worst of the worst, obviously. you should totally ignore all your years as a warrior and risk both our lives and let bandits live to terrorise innocent people because of course I know better than anyone! Normally I would stop reading at this point, but you have made a sufficiently interesting story to hold my interest. Now, that was me mostly blowing off steam after continually having to take breaks from this story, I don't expect you to change your entire story for me, don't expect you to even agree. However I had to get this off my chest, and maybe if you write another character you will realise just how hopeless it is to be as naive as deidre. Now doesn't that sound condescending.

Hey this is awesome! I kinda struggled on through this. I’m not really that kind of person to always seek out peace and mercy. And that sorta put me off, I tend to look for stories with lots more bloodshed. But... all in all, I’m glad that I chose to finish this remarkable tale that you’ve written. I hope to see a sequel for this in the coming times.
| Divine Protector of Skyrim chapter 15 . 12/20/2017
What is a hirth? I looked it up, and looked around. But couldn’t anything that would tell me what it is. I assume that’s it’s a German word for a group of skill warriors sworn in service of a Lord.

I like the story, but the info dumps are really annoying
| Aquanort343 chapter 3 . 12/23/2016
Story's Great but i don't like The Stormcloaks
| Draco Oblivion chapter 64 . 2/10/2016
Aw I'd forgotten how cruel your writing is, I mean I'm enough of a masochist to read continuations but I can imagine just dying inside if you left it with Deidre's horrible actions in book 2 and didn't post her book 3 redemption
| Draco Oblivion chapter 63 . 2/10/2016
Wow, I can only imagine how much a project like this just takes over a person's life (especially when the only thing they get from it is satisfaction of a job well done) but I am hoping to see more of this, such a great story.
| Draco Oblivion chapter 62 . 2/10/2016
She really is the just the best person. Plus she had what all the Mary-Sues didn't, a story and struggle that led to the perfection she is now. In Deidre we trust!
| Draco Oblivion chapter 61 . 2/10/2016
Kinda have shivers... Like her victory of Ulfric was just wow and then all the talk after, LONG LIVE QUEEN DEIDRE!
| Draco Oblivion chapter 60 . 2/10/2016
Hahaha wow, just wow. I love how principled Deidre is, standing up to needless violence wherever she finds it. I still find it frustrating seeing her worn down by all the evil in the land but it does make me smile, so admirable
| Draco Oblivion chapter 57 . 2/9/2016
Ahhhh! I think this is what I wanted, to see Deidre finally stand up for herself instead of kneeling and accepting every passerbys anger and grief as if it were her burden to bare. I mean she could have gotten angry but Ihave to respect her calmly and resolutely stating she did what she did and doesn't have to justify her actions
Haha Malukah does like stirring things doesn't she? She seems so off though, like I could imagine her secretly being a playful Daedric Prince. Ulfric was disappointing though, I thought he fought for the soldiers not the crown
| Draco Oblivion chapter 55 . 2/9/2016
Odahviing is pretty awesome, It must have been so terrifying watching her rain down fire sat upon a Dragon, but she shows mercy too. I'd vote for her as undisputed Queen of Tamriel
