I really like how Steve is figuring Danny out. It must be powerful to realize how important you are to another person.

Loved the character study of Danny!

I have to say that you really nailed it! You really described Danny to a tee! You got his strength of character and his devotion and his bravery and his willingness to sacrifice for Steve and for the team exactly right. For all the "whiny paranoia" that Daniel sometimes delivers, its just a ruse. Steve knows that there could be no one else that would be more devoted as a partner then Danny Williams.

I also must add that you got the septic shock thing pretty good! Not only am I a laboratory manager for 30 plus years but I suffered from septicemia and toxic shock in 1981 and almost lost my life...(just a few short weeks after the birth of my daughter). I know what it's like to go through that...the high fever of almost 106, being packed in ice, hallucinations and the body shutting down as I had 1 bag of antibiotics an hour! Back then the antibiotic choice was much more limited and I had three different ones. When I came into the hospital my blood pressure was 40 over 0 and I was almost dead. It's a strange situation because at that time I worked at the hospital and everyone knew me! I only know that the power of prayer help me survive and I lived.
