How sweet! You really capture the "Willie-grammar" very well! What a neat story! Super!
| Osheen Nevoy chapter 1 . 4/25/2014
Warm, incisive and exactly right! Such good descriptions of their complicated, dysfunctional yet supportive relationships. I particularly like the comment about Willie trusting Barnabas sometimes and even feeling sorry for him, and about both of them having a lot to learn. And I can totally see the furious and embarrassed Barnabas in the one year ago Easter, and of course there is Julia, with the ever-present sedative ... Very fond of that "no sedatives this year. Let's get you to a chair and get you some chocolate." Willie's first Easter basket! Sweet without being cloying - an excellent piece of work!
| Helena Clara Bouchet chapter 1 . 4/22/2014
That was so sweet, but I was nervous for Willie when Barnabas cornered him like that over Julia's flowers. I hope Barnabas was embarrassed for his treatment of Willie (well, he made up for it with the gift, right?). Great holiday story! :)
