Akashi is a very interesting character, and it's always very nice to have a complex character described so excellently. Thank you for the update!
| LeoInuyuka chapter 39 . 13h
Ok i was honest to god shocked at the end there by King Kuroko Tetsuya making a grand appearance for real
But omg the building of the suspense throughout the chapter was powerful and I can really see Akashi's internal struggle within himself regarding obedience and his own independent free spirit, as well as the struggle for dominance and control in the Akashi household. Love this!

Just wanna wrap him in a blanket and cuddle him! Or mess with him and poke him with a stick
| TheVastEmptiness chapter 39 . 9/18
Ahhh this chapter is really good! I feel like you can actually follow Akashi's thought processes, despite him being a character that I don't typically empathize with. Can't wait for more~ YOU CAN FINISH THIS

The alert for this was a signal our internet connection finally deigned to let me access. Nice timing! Akashi-kun...go home. And by home I mean Hotaka-san and Kozue.

Loved this chapter
| cjennxx chapter 23 . 9/17
I've been re-reading this fanfiction while waiting for the new chapters (can you say desperate? lol), and Hotaka might actually be my favorite character! His amusement at this whole young-love is even more apparent in the second-reading
| TheVastEmptiness chapter 38 . 9/15
Yay! I'm so glad that this is still being continued, it remains my favorite KnB OC fic by far. Can't wait to read more of it!
| LeoInuyuka chapter 38 . 9/14
If there was an award for the most dramatic bitch on this planet, Akashi would win it by a landslide as the only nomination smh
And you captured it so well! His desolation and absolute agony (haha... absolute... im sorry its 1:15 im dead inside) and i loved it all!
Kozue's brief interaction with Reo was a brilliant burst of characterization for both; she spares a moment to offer comfort to an acquaintance and he so readily accepts it... brilliant, loved it
| cjennxx chapter 38 . 9/14
She finally says his name! I do so hope the next chapter is just a tiny bit longer!

Damn, that was POWERFUL and so, so EMOTIONAL. I think you nailed it. You did an amazing job at portraying Akashi's emotions. His father's words and beliefs scarred him and coloured his vision of the world. It will be difficult for him to accept what happened and, more than anything, accept that, just becouse he lost, he won't become nothing, that he has his own worth with or witouth losing. Sure, he will always aim to win and he will always expect and pretends from himself to win, but hopefully he will learn to be more flexible. To change his beliefs. It won'the be easy obviously. It goes against anything he has been taught to him by his father, against anything he has believed for all his life. And it will hurt. But he will change his vision of the world even if only a little bit, that little bit will be fundamental. Talking about fundamental... Kozue will certainly help him and support him in this difficult journey of his. As she has proven in this chapter she understands him far more than people may guess and, while they are two completely different individual, she will be able to stay by his side. Amazing chapter. You understand Akashi's character as no one else does and the way you write him is boyond perfect.
