![]() ![]() ![]() I really hope the "Matthew was with prostitutes"aranoia doesn't become a thing. I'm disappointed Mary even doubted him. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Finally! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Mary is bring up the kids they don't have to guilty(?) Matthew to not go? Not sure how that works |
![]() ![]() I know its a symptom of the times that Matthew can't confront Cora directly, but damn I wanted *someone* to bluntly tell her something like 'your daughter came to you for help with a situation that made her uncomfortable and your response was to champion the very thing that discomforted her... potentially loosing you her trust and/or hurting her' |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ummmm. Stand up until 4am finishing this. Epic. Love love love. |
![]() ![]() ![]() These two stories were excellent! I could not put them down, you had me completely hooked. Wonderful job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, so that's the first mention of who Anna's gonna be with in this story and I don't approve! Ahaha, I rather adore Bates and Anna or well I used to, but ever since you've started writing Anna x Alex, I've jumped ships. I rather love Alex Lewis, having seen him be amazing in more than one of your stories. I worry for the fate of Major Lewis here though :( |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aaah, such a nice ending! I made me a bit emotional :-) I was hoping Mary and Matthew would actually leave Downton and I'm glad they've moved to London. I'm sure they'll fare very well there, before coming back to Downton one day. I really liked that final conversation between Mary and Richard, it was needed to have closure and Richard did have some good points. Part of me still thinks that if he hadn't been such a cardcoard villain in canon, they could've worked somehow (but as near as the perfection of MM of course). Loved the role playing, how it had canon in it :D I was surprised Sybil would chose law! I didn't see it coming but it also fits very well. And to end that story with a scene at the college where they met... :-) Thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved it. Such a satisfying ending! :) Good call to include a final conversation between Mary and Sir Richard. He was right, there was some part of Mary's personality that wants power and control. That was why Sir Richard was interesting as possibility in Series 2, the other suitors were completely lame. She needed the final word but the result wasn't what she expected. I liked "He's my husband, not my keeper". And Matthew found out and wasn't angry! I liked how Mary subtlety put Cora and Rosamund in their places.I liked Matthew reading the newspaper as a way to comment the return to real life after War and then to tied it with Sybil's search of purpose. I prefered your version of the story, Tom finally giving his notice and choosing his own life instead of waiting forever and Sybil open to the possibility of a career. I would have thought nursing or medicine would be nearer to her interest but law could be interesting. No sex discrimination in civil service is a great purpose. Playing with canon and AU in their role playing, ha, ha, loved it! "Marriage like dream", very smooth! I was so emotional when I realised this story is complete, even more than with "Let's Be Strong" because the ending nicely tied it with "Flirting with Convention", so perfect that they return to the academy to make a donation and contribute and then they go to Brown's! I remember when I discovered it, it was the first fic I read written by you. I liked the idea of meeting in a music academy, my reviews were one line then, not the testaments that are now. The ending made me feel so nostalgic, I was tearing up and smiling at the same time, it really has been quite a ride! :') Thank you so much! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Except that I'm sad is the end this is brilliant! You have great ideas for eight or nine new stories in this chapter, so I should be glad! One question, was your Private Gordon a random guy or was he actually a friend of Patrick's, like in the script? Very good and wonderfully enjoyable! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm very intrigued to where Sybil's going to end up. You have opened a door of new possibilities for her. An excellent chapter as always. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very satisfying ending! Such tricky twisty plot Richard concocted. Nice MM interactions all throughout. I wait to see what else you have up your fanfictional sleeve! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Waited all day to read this as I knew it would break my heart. And it has. I can't take. Apollo, you're the backbone that's only this fandom together and I'm so afraid that your interest is waning. Ending two of my favorite stories of all time, is hard to take. Please say that you have other ideas for stores in the Q that you'll be posting them soon. Please say this isn't the end. We'll all miss your wonderful M/M stories so much. Send me a hug as I'll need. This review probably make as its 2:00 in the morning and I'm not coherent. Night-night |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, another story done. I'm saddened to see the end to this wonderful story! It was interesting to see how Mary has changed from her encounter with Richard. The resolution wasn't as satisfying as she thought it would be. Love how M/M can't keep their hands off each other throughout the chapter! Interesting spin on having Sybil pursue a law career and not following Tom to Ireland. Rosamund and Cora didn't exactly apologize but it seems like they were aware of their wrongs. The ending was the best, starting with their roleplaying to revisiting the school for the blind. Loved that you had them be patrons of the school, reminiscing when they first met to their first kiss. Lastly, it couldn't be complete without a visit to the Brown's. Absolutely adored this story! Thank you! Is this really the end of all your M/M stories? |
![]() ![]() Another finished fic? Noooooo |
