Glad to see an update on this one after all we've talked about. As always, you know how to build tension. All these shady characters got me intrigued and I'm wondering how Lady and Tatiana will survive Lucifer should they have a run in. Plus whatever chaos this Kellvone guy can add. And even though it wasn't touched on, I'll be looking forward to Dante and Nero's own mission in Hong Kong.

I actually caught something helpful for once, though. You repeated a line during Trish's conversation with Kerek. Toward the end you have "He's gone on a spree across Europe and Britain. Information says he indoctrinates followers like a cult and they conduct explosive attacks on civilian populations" twice. Once after one of Trish's lines, and the said immediately after by Kerek.

Other than that, it looks like everything is in order and very well done as usual. I'll be looking forward to more!

Her name is Kyrie with an E not an A. I had thought at first you were referring to a female OC. Do you mean the lord of flies Beelzebub by any chance?

It seems as if you are mixing elements of Resident Evil 6 in particular with Devil May Cry. Kyrie's part in this chapter reminded me of Sherry Brikin being captured.

That sucks Dante has lost so many of his precious Devil Arms,meaning his arsenal for fighting demons is rather limited but at the last he has Pandora and Spard sword.

Sounds like the gang have quite the dangerous situation on their hand.

you never disappoint. the entire scene where Kyrie was moving through the lab was so spooky. straight out of a horror game right there. i'm really looking forward to what you do with her. i know you will do a better job with her then the game did. and i'm ready for Dante and Nero to have their first big battle. i'll be looking forward to more.

I've gotta tell ya, you write the Devil May Cry cast very well.
I also have a question. More of a request really: There's a lot of evidence to suggest that Bayonetta takes place in the same world as Devil May Cry. Would you be interested in making this a crossover, because that would just be great.

Bayonetta's razor-sharp wit would fit in nicely with the DMC characters' attitudes. Not to mention Luka would be a great straight man for the cast to play jokes through, and Jeanne's just stylish.
That, and Luka's dated Trish, which could be used in any number of great ways.

It's not easy to make a fan fiction with a heavy emphasis on OCs especially for a fandom with so little characters but you are pulling it spectacularly. I am a big fan of this degree of lengthy but fascinating chapters that does not feel like a drag to read through.

What draws me into these type of stories for Devil May Cry is having Dante and company working together on a case and helping each other out which the video games lack.

You got down each of the cast of Devil may Cry quirks and behavior right on the dot.

Also the dialogue and the witty banter between them with either each other or the other devil hunters is what propels this fan fiction into stardom.

Keep up the difficult task to give readers like me a reason to come back to this section.

i still love that banter at the beginning, your writing of those three is just so entertaining, and Michael had a good introduction, solid work as always, keep it up

oh i knew you would pull it off, im hooked here, you got Dante down for sure so dont worry about that, Devil Hunters are dropping like flies, Nero gets captured, there is some crazy anti-demon poison and Dante is freaking out over Nero's taste in music and bets with Lady, i love it haha, Dante is delight so far, just cant wait for Nero to get back in the game

and im so looking forward to Lucifer, im already itching for her to pick a fight with Dante, but i completely forgot about Kyrie, heres hoping they can track her down quick, dont want poor Nero killing himself chasing her all over the place again

so of course you rocked it, cant wait for more

To be honest the beginning paragraph of this chapter threw me off as I was reminded of that dreadful DmC reboot and I had thought this fan fiction was using the DmC universe but it would appear that I was wrong.

It's still far too early to tell but I do hope that you are not using anything from the reboot and bringing it into the original universe.

However I do like the fact that all of the devil hunters are present and accounted for.
