I’m reading this for the first time and enjoying it. I do have one thing that’s bothering me, the baby doesn’t have a name. I’m like 28 chapters in and I don’t know this kid’s name.

The therapist and Penny have huge problems here. What Sheldon did in exposing Leonard and Amy's wrong actions was in no way "morally murky", nor did Penny have any right to feel "scared" of it. Leonard and Amy did illegal and reprehensible things. They now have to accept the consequences of those actions. The end.

Also, while canon Amy had serious fixation issues, your version is beyond stupid and utterly unbelievable. As if she'd be stupid enough to pay random cheques to people. Also, you're clearly unaware that research funding does not go to the scientists. It goes to the university and is marked designated for that research. You might want to do some background research- this is kind of embarrassing.

How idiotic. Leonard faced the consequences for his actions. Sheldon should have done the years ago. Your Penny is stupid.

I read this story many years ago and cackled at this line, and it still cracks me up today. I had forgotten about this little gem of a story, so I am long overdue for a reread. Thank you again for writing it.

I agree Amy (and all of them, actually) are problematic characters, but you've turned it into juvenile and silly dialogue. "I bet I'm smarter than a baby?" really? You had enough material to work with, you don't need to be silly.
