For starters, the chapter where Rose captured a guy and stuffed him in the closet gave me a good laugh. Even it was something small, that whole paragraph where Max had a blank poker face and turned his head to meet Rose's beaming smile. It was the perfect comedic juxtaposition, and I had to stifle my laugh to not look like a hyena. You did not have to go into detail on how the scene plays out on every detail, because your writing enables me to envision the scene clearly without much-needed illustration. Hello Author, it has been while. I reviewed your works in the past, I have finished "Less Than Zero" and I am writing this review. To be honest, I am not privy to DC universe nor Marvel verse, so I figured, why don't I just look up fanfics that illustrates the superheroes and villains? I am aware of the big names like Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, and all the -mans that are the main cast.

I mostly filter the search results that includes a OC centric story, mainly because I roughly know the other original cast members story, so I wanted to look for a OC that gets my attention. Plus, OCs gives me a clear reading on what I'm getting myself into with the story. And OCs tells me if you are a good author or a bad one (you are def the former :D). And you had my full undivided attention for the past week, my friend, because the story was that good that I binge read. The last time I read this story was about 3-4 years ago, and I completely lost track of where I left off. And since the story was marked complete, I figured I reread everything and not worry about an update on a cliffhanger.

I distinctly remember Power Girl was introduced with a Titans team much earlier a couple of years back when this story was incomplete. I might've read it in a fever dream, but I am positive I read along the lines of Power Girl being involved way before the finale. It's okay if you had to change a story if you were not satisfied with your writing. It would be funny if Null just tells the older Super girl that he's in an intimate relationship with a younger version of her. And both Supergirls having to explain one another what's going on. (I am positive I read in the past Karen Starr Supergirl was there, feel free to correct me).

As much as I want to gush about the story, there were some problems I encountered while reading. First off, after reading the AN at the end of the finale, I figured you had plans to continue the Null saga. It doesn't excuse that some notable villains like the Joker being a loose end. He was captured by Red Hood and... that was it? Or how Slade and Chemo were involved in the cargo ship crash, and they were not spoke of again. There were clear arcs on focusing the other characters that were not Null to flesh out their purpose and who they are, I did appreciate you giving your best shot on Nulls first and worst job he suffered. But there were some stinkers, like the whole spaceship sequence with the Ops and Null. And also the arc with Felix Faust was good, but other arcs were just better. Especially, when Null played on the other side of the field with villains, this arc was my favorite next to Anarky framing Max. Every scene with Deathstroke was wonderful, full marks on making him be the badass. The story felt a bit flat since it was a huge cast you had to account for, but it was an arc I was not feeling entertained nor feel like revisiting. I'm glad my boy made it big with Supergirl and the lemon was not too bad, but Rose with Max was just better. IDK why, but the energy they both exerted felt raw and emotional.

Honestly? I'd rate this wonderful story like an 8 or 9 out of 10. The thief isn't the most overpowered OC, that just makes every superhero/heroine and villain like chumps compared to the shameless overpowered OCs I have seen in the past. It's like I was watching someone grow as a person and a force to be reckoned with. I do enjoy his aloof nature with running away from the big baddies that can kill him. However, being able to stomach danger and take on people head on.
The character you created is wonderful and the comedic jokes, attitude, and his ideas of tackling issues is what I like the most. That whole heart-to-heart thing with Kara after Lord's death? It was powerful, it shows that he is remorseful of actions, but the gloves come off when the people he cares about are involved.

The forbidden fruit he tasted when Rose was around, living with Max? It was a high for Max until Rose had to be called away to do some family tasks. Rose did not realize it but, she subconsciously did hold Max dear to her. And she was smoothly transitioning the conversations away from Max and also her assault on him whenever her half brother brought it up. Even her life was so fucked to leave a deep scar in her psyche and the injections from Slade make her manic and paranoid, Max was still the light for her. Cheesy, but, I know what I was seeing. Since you have further plans for another saga of Null, I can look forward to it. Perhaps I'll see more fleshed out characters or new ones, I look forward to what you have planned

I am currently rereading Extraordinary Times about 15 chapters in, and hopefully I catch up to speed with the story. I'm very happy to see you are still alive and writing these wonderful stories. Take care author.

I saw it. The updated status when the chapter came out. ThThe one that said 'Completed'. I saw it, and then I ran. Truly, I would pray to the gods for a new chapter of this series each and every time over the YEARS I've followed your work. And when the final one came...I didn't read it. Until today. It's daunting, the realization thay something you love is coming to an end. It's scary. Frightening when another reminder appears before you stating that a chapter in your life is over.

I let this finale sit there, in the dust, left unfinished for months on end just so I can pretend it wasn't over. But it is over.

I found you whilst I was in middle school. I was getting into so many fights that I was threatened explusion. I was probably lying in bed, trying to stem off the boredom. And I came upon you. And in a flight of fancy, I thought you had interesting concepts and decent writing style above the bulk of the fodder on this site.

I went to high school. Honestly had the same problems there. Think I remember being at a buddy house in the middle of conversation when I put my hand up and told him to shut up for 30min the moment I saw an update for one of your stories. That was the last time I spoke to him.

Sophomore and Jr I started to get control of my anger. Even got my first job at McDonald's. An accomplishment I felt proud of. Yet With each update and cliff hanger would make me furious. I swear must have cursed you and blessed you in the same breath a thousand times over the years.

I graduated and moved out. Got a new job. A new house. I remember reading your Naruto story I think on a blow up bed in an unfinished room with blank walls to clear my head about the next chapter in my life. School was over, and it was time to be an adult.

I'm in my second house. My girls moved in. I have a job that I love. And I'm 21 now. Another milestone. Another that you're there for. You don't know me. I don't even think I've commented before. But I've been here for a long time.

You've been in mine and so many others lives for such a long time. With just this story. Some of us were raised on these stories. All of this to say... thank you. I know for you it's just an update here or there, but for us...

I really, really really hope for a sequel. I don't want to part with Max, I feel this hollow and bitter feeling seeing the "The End" text. I'm going to miss him a lot, I'm going to miss your characterization of the other characters.

I definitely want to read more, but its fine if you don't write a sequel. sometimes you don't need sequels, sequels tend to bring our expectations higher than the orginal. This was a really good work. let it remain as a beautiful memory with me.

Honestly, I don't tend to read much fanfictions these days but I stumbled upon this out of boredom and wanting a good comic book read. I just have to say this is absolutely incredible. Legit some of the best storylines, character dialogue, world building that I've ever seen on this site.
