Sometimes writers of this fandom writes like a crap if you are writing a story them please write from a neutral perspective. Beckett did something horrible and yet she may not know but she just try only ones for god's sake and then gives up. Wonder if Castle had only tried ones to make theor partnership work and then gives up what kind of pathetic life of hers would be. She was a miserable uptight women and Castle bring fun in her life and just brought more pain for him since he had k own her. She she can't pursue him like he had been doing that for her for four years maybe Castle should just drop her ass back to her miserable lonely life of what she deserves.

Wow you writers are seriously one in a million. You sure as hell know how to make Beckett play a victim card even when she is cause for someone's pain and heartache. So she can have three months of disappearance and when she comes back she expect everything to be same but when someone else does the disappearing act she despise him. She is no better than another women in Castle's life they all used him according to their gain Beckett does the same while she may have slightly better charecter than others. She uses Castle according to her need when it's Castle that needs her some understanding of the situation she shuts down she doesn't give a shit about his heartache or pain she only sees her pain she only cares about how situation can benifit her and her alone.

I'm sad to see that this is your only story, and that along the way, you lost your inspiration for more. Still, it's been a beautiful gift to be able to read your words, and I thank you for finishing this story in spite of that.

I think my favorite part in all this was Kate and Castle at the cabin, how you healed them in a place that healed Kate first, how they managed to spend time together and smooth the edges of their brand new relationship, yet mend the already-there ones from their partnership. It was heartbreaking to see them apart, but oh, my heart was singing when they finally talked.

Also, the banter between Espo and Ryan was gold. The perfect interlude to keep me yearning for more of the Castle-Beckett saga.

Again, even if years have gone by, thank you for sharing this story with us. I'll treasure your words.

You are just like other writers being a jerks that is. How dare Beckett to say that Castle should be grateful that they are coming. You make it sound like it was his fault entirely. She is hypocrite never took responsiblity for her actions. And being an insensitive jerk

I'm so glad I found this story and I did by reading your stories under your new aka. I have never struggled with worrying what others my think of me in any capacity of my life so just so you know you should not either. The fact that you have chosen to continue a storyline that includes these two characters for someone like me who was utterly devastated when we lost the series is an astounding gift that I will never be able to repay you for and that you are very talented in your story telling. I had no idea fan fiction existed until April of 2016 when the news of SK and TJ were being let go. From that moment all my energy went into getting Castle cancelled. There was no Castle if the story of Beckett did not exist imho plus the fact that AWM and TEM also said it was a love story with a happily ever after. Thank you again for sharing your gift with me

Ok, so I really loved this story with the exception of one small thing. At the end of the story when Castle's hosting the dinner party I couldn't help but feel annoyed by the fact that he basically shouldered all the blame for what happened and Kate let him, she at no point stepped up and admitted to her own actions. That's not to say that Castle didn't owe the boys an apology, he definitely did, but Kate also should have been apologizing given that it was her betrayal that caused the problems in the first place.

Well, today's guest reviewer to whom this makes no sense, instead of spending time reading something you can't understand, perhaps you can simply go write something of your own you *can* understand. In the meantime, I shall explain this to you as best I can: it's my story. That's why what happens in it happens. When it's your story, you can feel free to add all of the Kate groveling you wish. That's the beauty of the thing, you see. Enjoy that experience. It's a fun one! Far more fun than reading someone else's obvious nonsensical crap.

This makes no sense, Kate reaches out once, gets rejected and gives up. You force castle to reach out to her after she lied to him for a year, makes no sense. Why does it always have to be castle that takes the risk, says the words, fights for them? Urgh.
