But this one, is actually likeable, and quite endearing. I really hope his relationship with Severus continues to warm up. The things I'd do to read what happens next! |

He ~would~ see quickly that SS ~said~ nasty things but never hit anyone, a great improvement over his relatives' behavior. Your point about HP's noticing that SS's attitude to HP's fame was the same as his own was believable and arguably inevitable but one I've not seen before. Kudos to you! It's a bit sad, though, that HP thought SS actually saw him. It's true that he didn't see the Boy Who Lived, but he did, at least at first, see far more of James than was there. Happily, thanks to you, SS seems to be changing his mind. If you do write a sequel, I might be very glad to see SS truly come to see HP for himself. (My uncertainty derives from the high probability that it'll be slash, which you favor and I don't voluntarily read. ~Not~ incidentally, thanks! for the disclosures in your summaries, which a disgusting number of authors refuse to make. Of course all authors may write any legal fics - no child porn - they wish, but we poor slob readers simply can't achieve "don't like, don't read" unless we know roughly what's in store.) Anyhow, thanks for writing this skillful and moving story. |
