This was one of the most beautiful things I have ever read on this site. Truly, almost ever EVER. The relationship you built for the elf and orc in this short time is incredible and I am totally smitten. Your writing is wonderful and flows perfectly.

Aww! This is so cute. I love that they have the same name (and the line about his mom wanting a girl, haha).

To boldly go where no Elleth has gone before... I guess it's a good thing she has skills in sneaking out of elf-ville with a warm bundle, she will need it.

I liked it from the first lines.
First I didn't get why she hurried so delightfully to meet an Orc but then read a paragraph about his saving her life. I will not be the first to ask but... why? Is he different from his kin in some way (aside from his name and his mom)? It seems like his mom had taught him about not every Elf is a murderer with flaming eyes and distorted face :D

Ooh! That's lovely. And frustrating, because it ends! This scenario seems so much more complicated than mannish females and orcish kind, I'm almost holding my breath. Talk about forbidden fruit! As I hoped, Fuilloth is delightfully forward and sure of what she wants, but the elegance you'd expect is still there. I like to see a more natural side of Elves, and by natural I mean in tune with their bodies (/sexuality) as well as their intellects.

I can imagine the consequences would be extremely severe should her family find out about this. I'm wondering, she is called 'maid' and we know she's rejected suitors, but is Fuilloth a virgin? And would there be some sort of obvious change if she crossed that line into sexual adulthood? We know that, though Elves read as prudish to many of us (cough), cannon has it that Elves die if they are assaulted. Which is so WTF you have to wonder how sexuality in general changes them.

I'm glad he saved her life. Otherwise I'd have to think she was insane, meeting him. I'd love to know more of Lulzaburz (ooh, wait! let me at least do this: Lülzabürz!) and his motivation. Was it just genuine good instinct, or does he have ulterior motives?

I really love how you write your dialogue btw. You're orcs speech pattern is distinct, but also completely natural sounding.

Nice story! I haven't read a whole lot of elf/orc, so this is a lot sweeter than what I'm used to. :P How could someone not like tea! I wonder if Lûlzabûrz is teased for his name.
