Deja Vu 22 chapter 6 . 4/11/2018 This is my quadrillionth time reading this and I want to cry every time. So very well done. You can actually see the project grow from something hopeful to something broken. Wow |
little.tel chapter 6 . 9/26/2016 Wash and Maine are great. I really enjoyed the friendship and the story progresses well. The characters stayed in character. Oh hell, I love that you wrote this and I want more. Even though everything having anything to do with Wash and Maine is just full of sadness and angst. The Freelancers in general are just so broken by the time it's over that it's hard to ever have anything simply fun. Because we all know how it ends with most of them dead and the remaining ones shattered into tiny pieces. And you portrayed that really well. There were fun memories but in the end Wash is left alone and broken. I really do want more stories with Wash and Maine, even if they do have a melancholy end. |
PKRS chapter 6 . 10/14/2015 this made me upset and it's almost one in the morning in other words: perfect material to cry over at weird hours at night. a 10/10 i have maine feels now, more than I ever thought i'd ever have and it's a very weird and nice feeling |
The Old Bastard chapter 6 . 5/30/2015 Beautiful in a way I can't describe. Wonderful work. |
Guest chapter 6 . 5/3/2015 This seriously just left me speechless. The writing is so raw, so real and so damn well executed. Never expected to find such a masterpiece in such a small fandom. This is one of the rare moments where I honestly wonder how someone can be this good at writing. You wrote the characters so much deeper than how they presented in canon and it really pulled me into the story and their feelings. I can't even try to list all the moments that were so brilliant yet heartbreaking or simply so real I could literally feel the atmosphere/the emotional turmoil the characters went through. It was wonderful, thank you. |
Sarachan chapter 1 . 2/16/2015 Once you think about it Maine's situation is a tragedy because the way I see it Sigma was the Meta not Maine. I wonder if when season 13 comes around that the Meta is gone and Maine is still alive. Doubtful I know, but anyways awesome fic so far, I love your Maine characterization. :) |
Strata's Stargazer chapter 6 . 12/30/2014 I'm a little sad to see this end, but what a great story. Thank you! |
Aryashi chapter 6 . 12/30/2014 WAAAAAAAASH i have no words all i have is TEARS T_T Wow that was such a good story though and I love how Tucker is distant and Caboose is almost oblivious but there's hints of Tucker catching glimpses of exactly how fucked up Wash's head is and Caboose almost seems to be putting his ignorance back on to smooth things over. It's all super tiny details that I really appreciate. AND JESUS FUCKING CHRIST MAINE WENT FOR THE MERCY KILL. SIGMA MADE MAINE GO FOR THE MERCY KILL. THAT IS BRILLIANT BUT I WILL NEVER BE OK AGAIN. Florida knowing what was up and having his own little rebellion doesn't fit my headcanons, but it works so well here you might just change my mind. Maybe. In other words great story was great and thank you for posting it. |
Yuhi-san chapter 6 . 12/30/2014 The end? Oh no! But then again.. it's a good end. Kinda. I really love how you write and i like the end three a lot. I don't know about two because.. it was just sad. Maine somehow remembers, then again he doesn't. |
Aryashi chapter 5 . 12/29/2014 oh god wash is chapter hurt a lot but it was brilliant TT |
Yuhi-san chapter 5 . 12/29/2014 Oh I love your story so much! Even though I was almost crying in this chapter. You just write so wonderful. Everything just seems right and I dunno. It makes everything even more tragic. How Wash deals with his world slipping away. And how Maine is still Maine but slowly fading too. |
Freckle chapter 5 . 12/29/2014 The Freelancers are an incredibly tragic group, Wash especially. You always capture that spirit tragedy and comradary perfectly. Thanks for sharing! |
Ect0Gh0st chapter 5 . 12/29/2014 That sad, "pit in your stomach" poor Wash feel is really touching, and very nicely complimented with sparks of humour. On the dot and altogether heartfelt. |
Book Casanova chapter 4 . 11/12/2014 SWEET GOD IN HEAVEN I LOVED THAT. It was amazingly true to character, super sad, and had me roaring in laughter way more than once. |
M-Lo Sixteen chapter 4 . 11/10/2014 I absolutely love the way you write the Freelancers Poor Wash, he has the worst luck getting into these situations, but the best luck surviving them. It's a good thing he's got Maine to watch out for him Can't wait to read more :) |
