Bravo! You're pacing Astrid and Hiccup's relationship very well; not too fast, but still brimming with those hidden feelings and sexual tension. There's a lot that still has to happen, but I'm looking forward to their flight together.

An observation/suggestion. Snotlout has been the topic of discussion seeing as he and Astrid are to be wed, but he hasn't really made more than one appearance. And while Astrid's mother has taken notice of her absences, no one else has really questioned where she's been running off to in the day, especially with the dragon training she's supposed to be doing. Even with marriage contracts as they are, Snotlout would surely be wondering where she's been... and why she hasn't spent her time with him instead. But with how you're writing this so far I'm certain you have plans for this and much more, and I'm excited to see it play out.
