Great story, can't wait to read more!

Ah, the turning point. That was almost painful to read, it was so well written. Hiccup is beginning to realise that his 'differentness' is going to bring him to a life of loneliness. That little self-conscious act at her rejection says volumes. And Astrid... She's trapped. Well and truly. If he leaves now, with the tailfin done, I wonder that they will carry anything but pain, regret and a new, more negative view of the world with them.

Then again, there are a million ways in which a person can accidentally 'die' when you live surrounded by cliffs, and if Fishlegs covers for them... But Astrid needs to take the plunge and leave everything she ever knew behind. Would she even have the courage?

Still, I feel you have something else in mind. After all. There's always option three...

OMG! Is that smut I'm hearing? Need more in next chapter! Hiccup is so innocent, though. I kind of feel bad for him, since Astrid keeps yelling at him for stuff he didn't know about T-T. But it's still good! This story is still my favorite.

Astrid has a lot of work in teaching Hiccup what is and isn't appropriate, but some of that if probably from how he feels about her.
