I liked that bonding experience between Astrid and Stormfly. Not much bonding happened, but it is an important step forward. It's kind of like when Hiccup first fed Toothless.

I really do love this. The differences in both of their lives really stand out.

I really am enjoying the way that you are writing this. Hiccup is moving the way that Valka does (the way the dragons do) and I like that Astrid keeps having her attention drawn to that.

I had heard of this AU, but I didn't know that anyone was writing for it. I already like the way that this is shaping up.
