To quote Astrid, "This is perfect." The story, I mean. It would be beyond perfect if it got finished one day. We are close enough to the end though that I can imagine what the rest would be like.

Ahhh I love this. I really, really adore Wild!Hiccup! I don't even want him to change and become more Viking-y. He's perfect the way he is. And being able to speak dragon is a nice touch! And I really love his crouch-walk. Just, everything. I was shook at the scene where Stoick almost killed Hiccup before learning the truth (dark au where he actually does kill them and only really finds out what he's done when Valka returns out for blood, anyone? Because WOW great angst-potential, 10/10 spin-off, if I do say so myself)
I have a lot of feelings about Astrid's relationship with her parents. I don't know how to sort through all of it, but man do I feel it. Hiccup's too, actually. You convey the parent/child "I know best" "Please listen to me" conflict really well
Can't wait to see how the war goes down! And will Valka change her mind and help?

I do hope you update this story. been a while so live in hope.

I really hope you will find the time and inspiration to update this and eventually finish it because I really like it.

Oh, I know it’s been two year. But this doc is a triumph! You should be so proud of the story you’ve written. It’s so good. Your characters are so well-developed and your style is seamless. It’s amazing. I hope you finish this someday. I’ve read through it twice now.

I've just been rereading this story and absolutely loving it again. The chemistry and relationship development between Astrid and Hiccup is so good. I also love the reunion of Hiccup and Stoick, it's beautifully written. This is a definite favourite forever

You get kissed ONCE and suddenly you think she’s in love with you? Dude, it was a test kiss and it proved her theory right: she has zero feelings for you and it’s never going to happen, ever. If you want a woman laying under you like a dead fish and thinking about training routines and battle techniques while you attempt to impregnate her, you’re in the right place, but if you’re looking for a woman who’s actually responsive, try finding a girl who’s less intelligent and has poor taste in men.
