This was really interesting to read, you don't see many maddie or jack fics where they work with Danny without the reveal, super cool idea. The fic was amazingly written, paced wonderfully and overall a delight to read. thank you for haven written and shared this work!

You know, I've read this fic so many times that I've actually lost count, but it still stands as my all time favorite fanfic. I like to think about it when I have free time, and imagine all the different ways things could have gone or how a continuation would turn out. This fanfic is honestly the fic that really got me into fanfiction as a whole, and it stands as a pretty important foundation for my love of Danny Phantom fanfiction. I think your other story, Phantom of Truth, was actually the very first fanfic I'd ever read, and though I don't remember how I came across it, I'm really grateful that I did because I wouldn't be who I am today without your writing.

This is probably more sentimental than it needs to be, but I just want to thank you for being such a big part of my life, even if you weren't aware of it. I look forward to reading more of your stories, both here and on ao3, and I'll see you again next time I drop in to read Roughing It again.

I remember reading this years ago and wanted to come back and read it again. I'm glad I did. It's still just as good as I remembered. I wish it was shared on AO3 though. Oh, the ads! Almost as bad as the Box Ghost, always getting in the way and interrupting with giant boxes!
