| Professor Snape chapter 1 . 5/10/2013
Addressing Miss Jordan's behaviour as of late,
I would like to first praise the creativity in her solo work, she shows marginal promise in Wizardry, and I would also like to take the time to highlight her near senseless bravery she has displayed as to which she is believed to use to feul her... boundless flow of far fetched ideas.
How ever, detention (among other disciplinary activities), is unavoidable by all students. A few of her faults (in the midst of other hair-brained lunacy) is she may need to slow down while writing her 'apology letters', there are a few notable mistakes, such as "preoblem" (which I assume is "problem") Perhaps taking a second look over her writing, and taking the time to fix a few small misspelled words that are in a disarray, may improve some of her solo work.
Otherwise, Miss Jordan is... a fairly tolerable source of enjoyment to have present in my class. Here is the repairments bill.

My husband, the chemistry teacher, would draw and quarter this kid. After performing a blood eagle first.
Now I want to see Snape's letter to the insurance company...
| J-Kid chapter 1 . 12/12/2010
I'm surprised Snape isn't calling for blood and expulsion, not just detention, given the amount of personal damage Ms. Jordan has done to his lab- stealing expensive ingredients, exploding cauldrons, vandalizing his classroom, torturing poor animals . . . . If he'd been a chemistry professor, just imagine the reaction of any normal muggle school w/o Dumbledore's interference. Plus, I imagine a number of his ingredients are highly sensitive and none to stable themselves, so all the jostling about to her bed in Gryffindor dorm rooms, where anyone could steal them from her possession...
Ms. Jordan needs to do more than simply write a letter and serve "detention."
That being said Snape seriously needs to secure his classroom and office much better.

I loved this story. Thanks very much for writing it. I hope that you might have further adventures of Rebecca, only if it works for you.

I read Your story yesterday night and I really liked it, it is awfully brilliant. I thought the whole night about it and wondered what Snape's reaction would have been. *gg* I bet he'll never forgive her! (But transfigurate her into a cauldron)

This is SO funny. You've captured the Gryffindor attitude perfectly. And even though it was written so long ago, still nothing to keep it from being canon compliant.
Some of my favorite lines:
First, I can assure you that the stains on the wall were not caused by dragon blood and will therefore come off smoothly
Unfortunately, you cannot have them back right now, but I swear they will be restored to you safely, as soon as I have found out why they were removed last night... and who did it.
I saw you examine some very strange black mark on your left forearm, which seemed to cause considerable pain, so I decided not to disturb you right then. ... I have had bad experiences with this, you see. Ever since I once dared to enter Professor Lockhart's office while he was talking to himself in the mirror,
I know I should not have used you cauldron, Professor, and I am sincerely sorry now that I did, but you see, my own cauldron (as you might recall) had melted only the lesson before, so I did not really have a choice.
Oh well, better stop here. Great job!

Very amusing! This is one of the more subtle humour fics with hardly any OOCness (I'm talking about the canon characters). Throughout the story, I was under the impression that Neville was the student! I hardly expected to see an OC. Ah well, nice twist!
There's one major error: You need to use proper formatting between a few paragraphs. That's a basic necessity on most archives. I'd like to make a suggestion. This fic deserves to be on a moderated, quality-conscious archive. Try submitting it to different archives when you've corrected the formatting error. Good luck!

I've been enjoying your stories very much this evening... I thought that this was absolutely the cutest thing I've read recently. It makes me rather sorry that the letter isn't from a student we know of already, since that would make this vignette a rather lovely character study of, say, Hermione or Mandy Brocklehurst or someone else... but it's quite amusing as it is. :)
| Little Tigger chapter 1 . 9/4/2004
This was great:
"And, if you don't mind me saying so, Professor, I was strongly reminded of Professor Lockhart at that specific moment."
Snape's just gonna love that...
This was clever too:
"but your salamander seems to have taken the disturbance extraordinary well."
Thanks for sharing this. It is cute!

*Smirks* Incidents like these makes Snape's customary behavior perfectly understandable.

LMAO! This is hilarious!
