An update! Makes me so happy. :) It still felt like Zabuza's death was too easy... somewhat anticlimactic. It'll be fun to see how the interaction between team 7 and 10 will be like once they get more time together.

And I thoroughly enjoy reading about your Kakashi teaching his team! You make it feel far more realistic than the manga/anime, and it seems to me like they're turning into more 'real' shinobi. I sense some serious action against Gato coming up in the near future, and I very much look forward to the next chapter!

Wow! I love this story! I really enjoy that it has believable character growth with realistic character makeup. You didn't have them all suddenly get along or grow at a super human rate and you went into shinobi laws and issues realistically. I also like how you have mentioned dealing with potential mental health issues instead of ignoring them like some authors do.

I'm enjoying this story so far, though I admit curiosity what you intend to do about pairings and the rest of the Konoha 12. Please respond if you can.

I enjoy where you've taken this story, especially the character development and the cause for the changes. I can see Kakashi being angry at civilians who tried to order him around, or worse, order the Hokage around.

He's been a shinobi since he was five, no civillian had the right to interfere with his shinobi business, regardless of how important they might think they are.

I would love to see the poor cute baby genin get in trouble with Kakashi once more and suffer the consequences. They seem to be progressing well, it wouldn't be hard to imagine them messing up and taking a step back instead of forwards, but Kakashi being there correct it, and to then drill the error of their ways into their heads through amusing if cruel methods.

That's me just daydreaming though. Great job with the story, please update soon!

on one side, this is sufficiently in character, the playing with FANON, and some concepts, like civilian council, child soldiers indoctrinated from young age, the issue of Sakura's civilian parents, and interaction with civilians, as well as things like concubine contract and tea ceremony, feudal like aspects-which give a medieval east like feeling that adds to the story. the way you show that they are child soldiers is nicely done as well.

but you utterly ruined the haku scene- i really loved his character, and that scene in naruto was among my favorites. Naruto Fandom is cool due to its Shonen side no less that the other aspects-and at that point you fail. that special shonen variation of this fandom is missing, and lessens the story IMHO.

why do you hate Haku so much? what did he ever do to you?
you should have at least given some chance for him to invoke sympathy in naruto, somehow...
