I fucking LOVE stories where they make Sarutobi Hiruzen basass as fuck in battle. He got cucked so hard in canon, in comparison to what he should be capable of, considering his reputation.

Danzo's trying to fuck up Naruto's chances at a promotion? Why? Pretty sure SD is referring to Danzo, but it makes no sense to me currently.

Ok, so there were few hiccups here and there, but overall one of the more unique naruto fanfics, I've read. Sure there are a few Puppeteer naruto fics out there, but most of them involve naruto betraying konoha, or Sasori being a mentor. This was really interesting for me because of your naruto's character, him becoming more pragmatic, emotionless, then once again learning to feel them and finally finding a balance.. Not to mention the lack of bashing or sasuke or sakura because that shit gets so annoying. Also really love Hanabi aswell, haven't seen many fics with any focus on her before i think. Another thing I really liked was that unexpected ending, like there was no madara, no kaguya final battle, not to mention what you did with orchimaru, really loved that. My only complaint is that the epilogue was too short and though you implied the possibility of Hanabi becoming a future hokage, what I expected was naruto's success, like him getting an S rank rating in the bingo book, since I didn't see any mention of it after his initial b rank rating.

Anyways, this was a good read, only sad that I found this gem this late.

Really enjoyed this story. My only comment is that I think it would have been more compelling if Naruto suffered a bigger loss at some point: he a little invincible in my mind near the end.

I queued this story on my phone a few days ago and then got busy. I wish I would have found this story a long time ago. Very well written with a good plotline. I'm never really a fan of the 'Naruto teaches himself an impossible technique' trope, but you've done a good job not making it too unrealistic.

I f-ing loved this story. The Naruto puppeteer is something that has fascinated me, however I've only found one other story that I enjoy of it...and this story blew the other out of the water.
