Wow, what an unsatisfying ending. The kind of ending to curse the author over. You know why? Luck. Luck has no business in a final fight between these two types of people. Your power scaling is crap too. Was that really his solution to senjutsu? Are you kidding me? This whole fight felt like a circle jerk of vegeta letting cell power up for no holy reason in the world other than wanting to see some realized potential. You degraded this entire fight, took all tension and meaning away from it by turning it into a pure dick measuring contest where the main character only lives because his enemy consistently entertains him out of arrogance, hubris of all things. This has been out of character, and an ultimately pointless endeavor. Why would naruto even seek this fight out so woefully under-prepared? You're not a bad author, this was just a bad move. You could write a cultivation novel with this kind of misleading, simple, contradictory writing you've got here. Seriously infuriating in otherwise great works.

Why is he so damn unstable either? There hasn't been enough character development to explain how bipolar and sociopathic he's being. He can deal with Haku but not the clowns from Otto without losing both of his combat puppets? He can hide from and simultaneously ambush zabuza, a master of the silent assassination technique, but 2 genjutsu, and one air canon specialist can find and affect him so easily?

It was interesting enough. I don't understand the need for spy network without any reason. painfully lame attempt at making him extra edgy. another good fanfic ruined by author's desperation for an edgy mc.

Read this story years upon years ago it feels like, but im genuinely surprised that it held up to my memories of how it was, though I will say that when I first read it I dont think the story was past the first Sasori encounter, or maybe earlier than that and I also assumed it was unfinished also so all around this is a very pleasant surprise for me. If anyone reads this review give this story a go you will have a great time with a very unique take on Naruto as a character and for the author (if you are still reading reviews/still around the fanfic community period) thank you for making this and you have my best wishes in anything you are currently up to be it writing or whatever else makes you happy.
