Wow just finished reading your story. I got to say this is probably one of the best Naruto fanfiction I’ve read. I have actually been looking for a story like this where Naruto is jaded and willing to work hard to achieve his goal and isn’t so attach to the foxes power. I think you did an amazing job of writing him and his characteristics were amazing as well. I always like a Naruto that stays in the village but get strong without needing the Fox power. And that doesn’t go around helping every single person with a stupid smile on his face.

Absolutely incredible I loved this Fanfic. Easily one of the best.

I love this fic, it gave me what I came for and did it really well. Hell, this fic is COMPLETE, when does that ever happen?

The only thing that didn't sit right with me is how Naruto never had to pay for what he did. Hell, he used two human corpses as puppets in an exam, one of which was his teammates. He started a whole ass war, at least Orochimaru knew about that, but its a shame that never blew up in Naruto's face. The whole Hanabi and Nehi thing too, would have been interesting to see how Naruto would go about someone finding out.

While it fits the story, a part of me can't help but feel bumbed out that some characters didn't get any screen time. Sasuke did his own thing, which is understandable and cool. Hinata I kind of which had more of a point, the romance-not-romance never went anywhere, same with Hanabi's childish crush on Naruto. Kakashi who? Then again, who cares about kakashi haha. Tsunade, it's perfectly understandable why she's absent as this isn't a timeline where Naruto "saves" her from her despair. Doesn't change that I still wanna see it... This actually brings me to my biggest issue with this story.

The skips. There are so many moments where we reach an event, only to move on to the next chapter which takes place xyz months after that. Events are always *recounted* by Naruto, rarely do we get to actually see it happening in the present. I understand that adding all of those scenes, even the mundane ones, would be a LOT of work and add like 20 chapters to this beast, but I can't help but be disappointed y'know? You're writing style is great and I would have loved to read more of it.

It's a lot easier to complain than to praise, so don't take my lack of praise as a sign I disliked it. I absolutely adore what you've created here, I feel bad for new readers who see the word count and walk away, they're really missing a gem

Holy shit. This might be the first naruto story ive read that doesnt have anything I can really criticize it on. I wouldnt give it more than an 8, but thats light years ahead of the rest. Fucking amazing fic. I still like Sage and that one with the wolves and maybe Return of the Flash more but they all have dozens of faults and other little mistakes that just irk me. This one had none. Pure and straightforward down the path set at the start. Holy shit I love you man, all your stories are easily top 20, and likely top 15. Ive probably read like 50 fics by now, seeing as I only read the ones with more than 300ishK words, thats an impressive feat. Im going to look for a donation link bc you honestly deserve it, id love to send you some money as a thank you for these stories.

ehh not gonna read further, the puppet, poison etc concept was fine, derailing his personality like that I could manage. That human puppet stuff just doesn't seem to fit in right. Seems excessive even with his personality.

Would have really liked it if he just wasn't that twisted/extreme? Add in the puppets, poison and the other stuff it could have been really good, for my personal taste at least.
