Reviews for Inquisitor Carrow and the Tournament of Tribulations |

![]() ![]() ![]() God this chapter pisses me off is so many ways, its just such bullshit and forced plot contrieviences to make things happen in the way it did. 1. There is no reason for Carrow to allow the dark lord to remain free, with his skills knowledge and resources he should be able to create a prison to keep Voldemort imprisoned so he can interrorgate him. Thats not even considering how Carrow would just kill/interrogate Voldemort right then and there for information. 2. Careow should of reacted differently he should of been able to solve the confrontation before the transformation if not be able to put up a better fight. 3. Making Faulks be the one to always solve issues, or be in charge. Having just be a bumbling fool a brute and a lot of the time Faulks directly treats Carrow as his underling with Carrow actually listening and doing what he wants. 4. Why didnt Snape or Moody just apprehend Voldemort or inform the authorities/Dumbledore etc. 5. Why didnt Carrow inform Faulks of the situation it would of been useful for him to know. If just for the simple reason to cover for him. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Seriously why are you making Carrow an idiot and making him do stupid shit or having Faulks always be the adult its just sonfucking annoying. Yeah i love Faulks but really he shouldnt be always the focus or always in the right while makjng Carrow seem like a conplete simpleton when as a space marine he should be incrediebly smart and able to understand things faster than any human non enhanced |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hermione the first heretic! |

![]() ![]() ![]() Addition to last comment: Example, Vodlemort has clearly been in consort with some other power, what if they instructed him in the construction of the golem and the summoning would trigger on the golems death using the box as fuel or focus. The Daemon is clearly powerful, so if after Carrow: 1. Had the team surround the graveyard 2. Destroyed the golem without allowing it to talk and activate the device. 3. Had worn his armor. If the Daemon still escaped, then that would have been regrettably for Carrow but understandable. He knew he was facing off against a powerful and desperate dark wizard and took many reasonable precautions but could not have known about the demon. Outcome of the fight, Demon is injured, members of the team are traumatized either physically or mentally by the worst demonic encounter so far. Carrow is injured as now, Tim still loses eye but is otherwise able to manage the team after Carrow is incapacitated. Justified loss for Carrow, growth for Tim and finally giving him a push towards Carrows goal of world domination for the protection of humanity. Or at least see the need for Aquila Wizard and Muggle forces combining to combat demons. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Same as with the basilisk encounter, there are many valid ways for voldemort to turn to the daemon, but this isn't it. Carrow didn't ambush Voldemort, he wasted time talking, allowed him to fumble open the box, allowed him to put on the collar, allow the demon to fully manifest before engaging. Also, they knew of the location and time, it would have made sense to have the team on standby. The fight itself was fine, but everything around it was forced. An argument can be made for undererstimating the Basilisk since it was a new creature, but knowing that the box was evil and Vodlemorts last resort, MAAAYBE not give him an opportunity to use it? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another great installment of the series. I am looking forward to the text-to-speech shenanigans that will undoubtedly happen, since Carrow and the Emperor talk with each other now. |
![]() ![]() ![]() there's an ossuary at Bury St Edmunds |
![]() ![]() ![]() just a minor crit... a minigun takes time to rotate up to speed and is preceded by a very horrid and ominous whine as it does so, taking 5 or 6 seconds before it's combat ready. Taking people by surprise is... well, possible if they freeze Cecil! I love it. The Dark Lord Cecil. it has ... no charisma at all. But it's a bloody brilliant disguise to look harmless, and Cecil is a fool not to acknowledge it |
![]() ![]() ![]() its nice seeing the Emperor being so happy go lucky. before all the Millenia of bloodshed and ruined possabilities |
![]() ![]() ![]() i love Big E just being a Nerd. |
