Well that was an excellent read and everything did come out alright in the end. About as well as one could hope even with Stoick accepting Toothless as his son in addition to Hiccup. I imagine he still hurts but at least he knows his two sons always have each others backs.

Well that cliffhanger is super mega ominous.

This Hiccup will always be very different but yeah, I agree Valka would be very proud of both her sons.

And now I think Hiccup is finally getting what Astrid was trying to tell him.

Valka they are your sons. Hopefully Stoick can accept adopting both of them if they want to be.

this would probably be better if hiccup could talk. it's kinda boring like this. and unless they find a way to force him to learn how to speak then I can't see it happening any time soon, months minimum

Ok, so I remember reading this fic about 7 years ago and decided to come back to it. I remember really enjoying it (still do!) but in all honesty, your author's note here is really fucking disgusting "embrace your buttons" ? Really? You condone people's sexualisation of a child and an animal? I know you didn't write this with that dynamic in mind and you 100% do not have control over how others interpret this fic. I also believe that in some cases and if it is done with the utmost care, these stories can and should be told, but given that that was not your intent, that comment from you really made my skin crawl...

"Embrace your buttons, y'all! Get your jimmies off to children and animal sexy times!"

Art is subjective and exploring childhood sexuality shouldn't be a taboo or inherently wrong, but you really need to be careful with your words, dude. I don't think that it's wrong to view the story through this lense, but as you have stated you did not write it with that in mind, so you have not written this story with the kind of care and consideration that kind of story should be told with! very poor choice of words for someone who has in all other ways demonstrated their knack for words. Maybe I'm reaching, but that allowance here seems so horribly cavalier and permissible.
