| Izulza chapter 5 . 9/15/2013
I said it before & I'll say it again, "Oh sh*t!"
| Izulza chapter 4 . 9/15/2013
AAAArrgh! The suspense is killing me & apparently Christine too.
| Izulza chapter 3 . 9/15/2013
OOOOh, girlie you are in for it now.
BTW love the story. I'm always looking for a good horror story. Lo & behold here is one.
| Izulza chapter 2 . 9/15/2013
We all know what she's thinking "Oh sh*t!"
| anonymous chapter 9 . 7/14/2013
that was delightfully disturbing.
| ChristineFrollophile chapter 1 . 6/14/2013
I absolutely loved this! I do so love a more darker approach to the story. An enraged Erik is terrifying, yet exciting at the same time. You channeled him brilliantly, as well as Christine too. Both were in perfect form here, bravo!
| Guest chapter 7 . 12/20/2012
Although the story is fantasically written and the characters are alive, I feel that you didn't portray Christine correctly. In this she's one track minded and only capable of superficial thought. Most of the time she's just frightened and reacts like any other side character would. Perhaps you're not a Christine lover, and maybe her character is just convenient to the plot, but please consider that there is MUCH more to her as a protagonist.
| EriksCandleLight chapter 9 . 8/28/2012
It's difficult to describe how this story affected me. I loved it, but I hated it. I loved it because it was beautifully written, and you touched a side of Erik that not many authors even consider. I hated it because it made me realize just how alone I, myself, feel, and how much I long for a companion like the one I used to have who moved away. I don't have a close relationship with anyone-not even my best friend, as we've begun to drift apart. But, unlike our Christine, I don't have an Erik who will always be there for me, and who can be trusted with all of my darkest secrets. She's a lucky girl. That's why I can't stand her.

This was so good! Terrifying but totally lovely.
| gray seal chapter 9 . 12/19/2010
Holy mackerel! This was absolutely delicious. You wrote both of the characters so well, and even though we never really saw this of Erik in the book (perhaps a little bit, but never to the extent that he would lock her in a coffin - every person's worst nightmare, I'm sure) this was so well in character and absolutely believable. I was biting my fingernails the whole time, and I'm glad that it had ended so well. I was mortally afraid that he would kill Christine, and I'm sure that option would have been the easy way out. I'm glad there were no deaths, but a lesson well learned: Erik is one manipulative bastard.
| Flora Grey chapter 9 . 9/1/2010
I love a stone-cold crazy, manipulative Erik, and this one was particularly well done. Great stuff.
| RedCynic chapter 9 . 4/12/2010
Poignant and devastating. Erik and Christine are truly alive in your story in a way that is tragically rare among POTO fanfiction. Oh, I love the way he tested her, giving her enough rope to hang herself. The ending is deliciously ambiguous... there's an almost mad tinge to Christine when she tells Erik exactly what he wants to hear. I applaud you, my dear, this is a magnificent story and it was an great pleasure to read.
