He's curious about his magic but makes no effort to learn it even when he has access to a private library... What was the point of telling others about it and his original race? Could've just told them that it was some special powers he had... ffs, really annoying

Well, Gabriel is useless in this story, he's been walked over for ten years by the Dursleys, he's an ageless angel, he acts like a child, the author wants to follow the canon so badly that Gabriel has become useless.

This will sound odd and it’s 2am for me so maybe it’s tiredness speaking, but as angry as your note at the start of this chapter sounds, it oddly left me with a feeling of being inspired to be me and to just keep writing for myself and that sort of thing. Yeah, I think it’s 2am talking, but if I ever post any of my stories in the future and get a bad review, I think I want to remember this rant and maybe even listen to it again in that moment. An honest thank you.
