This is literally one of the best things I have read. I don't really want to sound like I'm being patronising or condescending (those words mean the same thing you idiot) but it really is. Haru is completely on point and I'm almost certain that this is how he would react in that kind of situation.

aww... let me just take this review as a chance to tell you that this is a wonderful story you've got here. Biblical reference aside, you have done a wonderful job (being able to incorporate the Bible to a fanfiction, of an anime no less, is something so rare that it needs to appreciated, but I am not saying that we should not appreciate the common things.) Thank you for this. Thank you very much. The story hits right at the heart. I am sorry if I only reviewed here at the second to the last chapter, but even so, I still wanted to show appreciation, and it's never too late.

I looooooooooooooooooooove this story so much. I ship them! I ship a OC with Haru! It's a miracle! I'm serious this is just so well written. I wasn't actually sure if they were actually gonna fall in love or not and that's a good thing! That makes it a bit unpredictable like a real relationship is. Seriously love this!

Good so far but I would like to point out some constructive criticism, hopefully. Christianity is a minor religion in Japan so it would make sense for Haruka to have a very small grasp on it. I also wonder if he would pray to the Christian God or feel compelled to donate 5 yen (or 5 cents) to a shinto shrine. I would have found it funny to have him search around Cali. for a shrine and then end up reading the bible afterwards or something like that.

I know this is listed as a "spiritual" fic and I'm assuming your goal isn't to delve into the Shinto religion but I think it would be a nice chapter to have him muse about both.

Good job on this story, it's well written, but I think the whole confession thing was rather fast-paced and sorta out of place. Are you going to introduce any subplots?
Overall this is a piece of smooth writing, and it's a pleasure to read.

Okay so not a Christian or whatever religion you're using but even I can appreciate the hilarity of Haruka trying to learn the bible when all he ever cared about is water. I especially love how your OC is so creative in her ways of teaching Haruka bible scriptures and quotes.
