Reviews for Clarity |

![]() ![]() I'm sure there are reasons, but I'm curious why they haven't assigned new psychologists to her. The current ones very obviously aren't helping, and if she doesn't like or trust them then they never will. My best guess is that they don't want to give more people classified information about her. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh My God! Aiko has been brainwashed! She's killing innocent nin and Konoha nin! This is awful! |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG DID YOU KILL IRUKA?! Also just finished vapors and OMG AMAZING. I had originally found clarity and saw it was a sequel so went and found vapors and then got so wrapped up in it I forgot about a sequel until I saw it in the A/N. Fabulous writing! Can't wait to see what you have in store for me |
![]() ![]() ![]() A good ending, if a bit abrupt. I do recommend that you mark the story as complete though, as that caught me a bit by surprise. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OK. So I read through Vapors and this in one go. You're freaking great. And I really like your OC's personality. She seems so controlling but in a good way. Her loyalty to her friends seems like the perfect trait as Naruto's sister. As for the pairings... I actually like that there isn't a really definitive one. At first I was rooting for Kakashi but after the paternal mess he was for a bit there it seemed wierd. Then I switched over to the other version when she was hitting it off with Sai. While I really loved the scenes between them I was glad it wasn't the end goal. Also on that note, I did wonder why his reactions to her death/kidnapping wasn't in there anywhere. Or a reunion/breakup/moving on whatever scene. When they left off they were kind of dating. Oh and what ever happened to Yakimasu? I think that was his name. Anyway, I like to think that she ended up with Yamato. Everyone else seems like a wierd fit. I'm not normally a fan of his but he's really sweet and has been there for her the majority of the time. Moving on from that, I love when stories really show that villians aren't always just evil for being evil and therefore love the fact that you saved Obito the way you did. It was violent and brutal and actually really satisfying. He even kinda deserved it but he was still redeemable to Aiko. The ending just was fan-freakin-tastic. Bittersweet in the best of ways. I feel like he would eventually forgive her since I mean you know.. eye for an eye and all that. Well, eyes in their case. Altogether it was a exciting read. Nothing went as I expected and I absolutely loved it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well that was wonderful and with that ambiguous ending I'm ignoring yamato and deciding that allows ends up poly with kakashi and obito and ends up being a bit of a booty call for gaara and occasionally temari and also sasuke marries naruto but also invites herself to the dates |
![]() ![]() yes best question to ask xD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Honestly, I’m still confused why this fic is labelled under humor, I found it ridiculous levels of depressing and angsty. Still not too sure about the point of this memory loss arc, asides that she gets the rinnegan (yay?). however, I do love this fic (series, whatever) - i think my strong feels about how disgustingly terrible Aiko’s life stems from how much I care about her. And seriously, her life is one shithole after another - I think Aiko’s life definitely goes in the top 10 terrible lives of naruto ocs - and thats really saying a lot. Hopefully you can actually give her some proper downtime? To catch up with Kakashi and some friends, or for them to all realise how much horrendous things that she has been put through and expected to come out completely fine of? Her life seriously sucks, and honestly it feels like after she’s out of immediate danger no one really cares about her and go on treating her as per normal (e.g. Sasuke hitting her with a clipboard, Tsunade just putting her out on missions straight after (not just this time too, but several)], just treated like crap like general |
![]() ![]() ![]() I thought tsunade and kakashi at least knew she had brain damage, why are they acting so confused that she isn’t coming straight back to Konoha is she were okay? |
![]() ![]() Agh, cliffhanger? |
![]() ![]() I'm a little mixed on how I feel with Clarity in relation to Vapors. Don't get me wrong, Clarity was a good story but it somehow feels underwhelming. I'm not sure if it was maybe just me, but I sort of liked how Vapors had a whole cacophony of stuff happening. It kept everything interesting and forced my attention all over the place. Clarity is definitely more of a straight-through story. Most of the major events in Clarity circulated around the obvious conclusion of Aiko returning to Konoha, making her eventual dissent from Obito a bit of a given. I guess my biggest problem was that Clarity seemed to just follow the most obvious conclusion for the overall story and ended when that part had reached its conclusion. I guess I'm mostly just bothered because I'm sad to see that Aiko's whole story was wrapped up with the ending of Obito's plans, almost as if to say that's all there really ever was to Vapors when it wasn't. There were the characters and their relationships, Aiko dealing with her life, and her constantly to protect Naruto. None of that feels like it's over just with the completion of Clarity's overarching story-line. That's why I'm mixed. Clarity was an interesting story, but I don't feel like it's really ended the series properly. I'm left with more questions than answers with a lot of the events in Clarity. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This one, although a lot shorter, was perfect follow up. I really enjoyed the way you closed everything. The whole story, as a complete work, was a really fun (emotional rollercoaster) read. I believe I mentioned it in my Vapors review, but the story brought out a lot of reactions of me. Tbh I never knew gasping in shock left your throat feeling cold and a little dry. But that's how I was, rereading again and again the last lines (especially the knuckle deep in eye ones, because fuck I actually shuddered in pain at that? And like wanted to cry? Because, fuck?). Needless to say all the happiness seemed from the fic wasn't the only emotion, and positive ones, while outweighing the rest, were not the only ones. Although, to summarize, I really enjoyed it. Thank you, like, really, thank you a lot. I'm glad I read this story. I'm thankful you wrote it. And god bless Crowns, I'd probably die if shit ended up going down the end you described. God, I'll miss this story, I loved it a lot, it will probably be filling me with nostalgia later at every step, I also loved all the short, as well as long, dweeb notes and omakes. It's been a wild ride. So I hope you're well, author, and whether you read this or not, have a great day/night! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aiko said fuck this to dramatics and took Obito down right there! She's cold ad tired and don't give a fudge nugget! IJ the oblivious one |
![]() ![]() ![]() Soooo... she looks like canon Sasuke now? Interesting... |
