Its over? It doesnt say complete. I thought I was reading an unfinished story. I'm so glad thats not the case. I enjoyed it a lot. I would have enjoyed seeing more Aiko and her family/friends fluffy moments after she got her memories back but I'm so glad it was finished. I kept coming up with horrible cliffhangers you could have left us at :D

As I approach the end of this I find myself hoping that Aiko at least recovers her memories before I get to the last chapter. If not can you please please please write one more. I dont care if its her waking up and suddenly remembering all and she lives happily ever after :D

I loved Vapors. I still re-read it from time to time. I had put off reading this though. You're a great writer but I felt the story was going to lack the things I loved most about Vapors. The character interaction. Also its just a personal preference but I'm not a fan of the whole "OC is besties with Akatsuki" type story. I figured I'd read it once it was done so I could quickly get to the part where Aiko gets home. It wasn't until I realized how long it had been since the last update that I figured now was as good a time as any to give it a try.
Its finally gotten to the, for me, good part. I'm looking forward to some emotional bonding and humor. Knowing there's a good chance it will never be finished is sad though.
I can't imagine how stressful putting your story out there for criticism from trolls and every random jackass that believes his or her opinion is clearly the most important and shared by all right thinking individuals. I do hope you get back to it. Even if the chapter just rushes the ending

This chapter seems to imply that you thought the Rinnegan's paths can only be used by a puppet, which is untrue. The real body can use them just fine; Nagato simply used the puppet ability for his paths because his real body was too emaciated. Unless that was an intentional retcon (or genuine misunderstanding) to explain why she won't be reviving Madara and/or becoming overpowered, I hope that it turns out to be an in-universe misunderstanding on Obito's part. That would be an interesting plot point in itself; ruining what he thought was a convenient safety net to stall for time. "What do you mean she can use the paths without puppets!?"

Otherwise, I can't see any reason at all to giving Aiko the Rinnegan (assuming she actually gets it) if she doesn't actually get some sort of significant powerboost and abilities from it. That said, if it is an intentional retcon on your part, even if I don't like or agree with the nerfing, it would be an interesting and reasonable application of Aiko's well established and sensible phobia of puppets, especially of the corpse variety.

This was a truly remarkable piece of work. Thank you so much for sharing your writing :-) I'm sad to see it end, but it ended on a good point. Thank you for clearing up some of the 'loose ends' in your author's note. It helped a lot for closer.

/If I didn't see your note at the bottom, I wouldn't have thought that she made the connection that she was taught by the same Kakashi that was Obito's teammate. She didn't seem to have a reaction to that fact. I would think that would cause her to doubt Obito a bit more if she had actually trained under the guy he dislikes. It's not implausible that she disregarded that detail, but it wasn't really expounded upon at all.

Dunno I feel you will ever read this and I'm crap at summarising these kinds of things, but I've been having a hard time these last few weeks and I read all of your vapours and clarity chapters.
