Skimmed through most of these last chapters

Overall a good story and I think the tags could add the hurt/comfort as that side of things is just perfect.
It’s weird that the mc self-identifies as James but is constantly referred to as Harry throughout the story.
The shattering of dead things IRL seems way too overpowered. He kills something and it shatters like a videogame? Maybe explain it better than “soul magic shenanigans”
Biggest gripe is the “sharing” of his gamer ability to others. Just why and how does it even? Seems like it’s leading up to the muggle friends getting the gamer ability due to more “soul magic shenanigans”

By granting other characters the same abilities as the main character you’re making him less unique and interesting. While this could be a great way to supplant the main character by killing him off, I think this is just going to go the most boring route

The centaur blood pact seems dumb

Your main character has become unlikeable.
He’s stuck in an 8year old body as a 13yr old and 18 chapters in is still treating people like npcs. I cannot suspend disbelief further and would prefer he was killed off and replaced with the SAO as the main characters.

So i'm just catching up to this story now in 2022, and I have to give you major Kudos for how amazing this story is. It's always awesome to see a good HP crossover that has original ideas, is well planned, has good action/adventure scenes built in, and isn't trying to completely rehash Cannon when it isn't needed. THANK YOU! Also I already loved my SAO characters, but you made me love them EVEN more. Pretty much the only thing I'm missing here is Harry going to ALO/Aincrad. I completely respect that you already had this planned out and it's your work, but I have to say that I would be EXTREMELY satisfied if this happens and Harry gets to enjoy the world he loved again. And I'm sure it's been years and you probably won't have time to flesh all that out and write it, and I totally understand because life is crazy and hard. And sometimes plot-bunnies just run away, those evil things! BUUUT just in case you do come back to this someday, Harry being restored to his actual 15 year old self in Aincrad would be awesome and I will come read it and there will be giant anime hearts in my eyes bc I'm a total dork. And on that note, thank you for writing this story. Arigatou Gozaimasu.
