I always see crying about a story as a good sign that it's a well written and great story. Because on one cries over something they don't care about, and if I care then you've done a good job. XD

I've always thought that Hisana pretty much died of shame and guilt in canon. I guess that being a soul, your self image counts for a lot and I don't see her seeing any value in herself after abandoning Rukia in a slum and then getting married to a noble...

Anyway, you've handled it well. guessing she'll start moving towards the Shinigami - she'll probably have to wait till Rukia is old enough and together because Seitirei is supposedly very hard to get into, family doesn't really get a pass.

That Omake was great, I liked that she used the Smile of Doom. :D
Also I liked that she is working with what she's got, which is mostly nothing so the fact that she joined a group seems more realistic for survival. The OC's were interesting and each seemed pretty unique with their own little niche in the group.

I like the story and hope it continues.
